POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m super happy to launch limited edition prints of After Everything.

The original work came through a process of frustration, removal and rebuilding. What began as breaking down the surface became something quieter, clearer and more honest…. a face holding what remains after everything has been stripped back.

Available as limited edition archival pigment prints on premium canvas, Hahnemühle fine art paper, and Japanese Awagami paper with a beautiful deckled edge.

Each print is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Available sizes and finishes include:
- Canvas editions from €300
- Fine art paper editions from €275
- Awagami deckled edge edition from €350

DM for enquiries, mockups, framing options, or to reserve your edition.
Limited edition prints of other works are also available on request.

The After: A Journey of Memory, Loss, and Reconnection

The After emerged, from a place of reflection, at the end of January this year. It is a body of work created after the passing of my father. This collection isn’t about the immediate grief itself, but about what comes after: the space it leaves, the way it reshapes how we see the world, and the unexpected connections it reveals.

The first piece in the collection, ‘A Tribute to Him’, began just a week before his passing. Uncharacteristically, I felt compelled to complete it on that very Saturday, adding the date, timestamp, and my signature. Just minutes later, I received the call. In the days that followed, as I sat with the weight of his absence, the name of the piece became undeniably clear. It stands as both a farewell and a beginning, a bridge between his presence and the absence that followed.

Each piece in The After is a conversation between absence and presence. The rough surfaces, the urgent marks, and the raw textures carry the weight of memory, but also the lightness of release. They signify the strength we find when we let life move through us, rather than holding it still.

This journey also brought me back to my family. It reunited me with my fourteen siblings and led me to Italy to meet three of them, some for the first time in over twenty years. In many ways, this was what my father always wished for: not just for us to remember him, but for us to find each other again.

The After is now on display at Unmaking Art Studio. It is a celebration of the bonds that loss can reveal, of the empathy that grows for others, and of the enduring presence of those we love, even in their absence.

To my father: this is for you. Your memory lives on in the marks we make, the stories we share, and the love that connects us all.

The Wood Speaks Twice.

From a single carved plywood plate, two works emerge.
Relief reads the surface. Intaglio reads the depth.

This limited edition series was created in collaboration with Studio 46, Barcelona, where I learned to listen differently to the wood, how ink moves, how pressure changes the mark, how the plate gives back.

Same carving. Opposite traditions.
Four editions of 10.
No two prints identical.

Available works: Idia’s Echo and Ehiosu.

Details and pricing in slides.

For enquiries, DM or contact
@studio46barcelona
@unmakingartstudio

Thanks again to all the folks at Studio 46 🖤 taken in Barcelona, Spain by @unmakingart

Barcelona is indeed one of the most creative cities in Spain — and why not in Europe, too? 🇪🇸✨

Having the opportunity to work alongside such talented people, all equally passionate about art and creativity, is truly an honor and a privilege for me.

I can’t thank you all enough for the incredible work you put into making this happen — from the stunning and creative makeup looks by @arturomazmakeup @makeup.belen.albornoz and @thepetalsmakeup to the beautiful, artsy and cozy space at @unmakingartstudio and of course, all the gorgeous models who were open to becoming a canvas for our creative vision. 🖤

A huge thank you to @revivalcobcn for lending us your unique and beautiful vintage pieces for our models to wear. They brought the whole concept to life. ✨

So grateful for this beautiful creative community in Barcelona. More to come. 📸
