“नीरा”..! Just like her name, she had two poles-apart shades, holding a whole spectrum of emotions within. Grateful to have crossed paths with a character like her this early in my journey. Thank you @abhinay_scriptified "मी promise देते, पुन्हा अशी स्लिप होऊ देणार नाही." :) नाटक: Get Well Soon लेखक: प्रशांत दळवी दिग्दर्शक: अभिनय देशमुख [Theatre, Theatre life, Theatre girl, Stage, Natak] #theatrekid #theatregirl #theatre #stage by @unplanned_yojna

This story has been sitting in my gallery for quite a long time now. Thought, it's about time I should let it out! 👻😁 Here's to many 'firsts' and to every soul who made it possible! 💛 Tried fitting the long, crazy journey of almost 4 years in just 20 slides, coz Insta says that's enough! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Paatki (Hindi) now streaming on @jiohotstar Paatki (Gujarati) now streaming on @jojoapp.in [Paatki, Making, Behind the Scenes, Script to Screen, Journey, First Film, How we made it, Film, Release] #Paatki #firstfilm #behindthescenes This picture captures the exact moment we completed the first ever screenplay draft of "Paatki"! An evening of November, 2022. Yes, it's been almost 4 long years!! That's when @gpaswala heard "Paatki" for the very first time and everyone knew that he will be our "Maanav"! There has been a whole sequence of narrations that @abhinay_scriptified & @aalapk912 have now lost the count of! Multiple drafts, multiple narrations, one story - Paatki! Now you know why it's been 4 years since we wrote the first draft of the film! :P The first time things began shaping up! :) Sometime around June'25 a team of young, passionate and crazy minds ventured in and around Ahmedabad and called it a recce! We knew we were doing this! 💪🏻 @patil.abhijeet1111 already had his DOP hat on chasing the sun, the colors, the textures and what not! :P The journey of 'Gaurav' to 'Maanav' began right here! For years, we have been seeing "Maanav" in a google doc, spelled out on a white page, but for the first time we saw him standing right in front of us, alive, smiling back at us. Oh, that moment! Can't be put into words! :) The clap was set. Did our first 'Ganpati Roll'. Everyone quietly wished the best to happen for the next 18 days and that's how it began! :D Nitya! Love her, hate her, can't escape her! Wrapped up our 1st schedule! No, 2 shooting schedules were never a part of the plan but, what's a schedule where everything goes planned, right? Finally, wrapped up the whole damn film!!! Still feels unreal! Moment of truth! Production is okay, but oooohh the post-production!!! Grateful for this team!! This collage does not have a single picture o by @unplanned_yojna

This was after our 2nd show of “Bhaag Dhanno Bhaag.” Sir had come to watch our play when we first performed it and was so overwhelmed that he couldn’t find the words to express himself when he came to meet me after the show. He kept looking at me for almost a minute without uttering a word. He simply pulled out a 500 rupee note from his wallet and handed it to me, saying, “Mere paas shabd nahi hain ye bataane ke liye ki tum logon ne aaj kya kiya hai. Ye meri taraf se tum rakho, aur aise hi achha kaam karte rehna.” :) Sir's wife wasn’t keeping very well during our 1st show. But for our 2nd show, he came back, and this time he managed to bring his wife along too, because he really wanted her to see the play, as if it would heal her a little. 💛 Thank you @mayureshbhor for writing this absolute gem of a play and thank you @avirat_indore & @abhinay_scriptified for bringing it to life in the most wholesome way!  For everyone who asks, “Why do you do theatre?” THIS is exactly why we do theatre! ✨️🤍 [Theatre, Audience, Reactions, Show, Theatre life] #theatre #audience #audiencereaction #theatrekid #theatrelove by @unplanned_yojna
