@macklemore continues to honor his commitment to humanitarian relief and the dignity of Palestine refugees.

In 2024, Macklemore released "Hind's Hall" and "Hind's Hall 2"—named in memory of six-year-old Palestinian Hind Rajab, who was killed by the Israeli military in Gaza that January as the Palestinian Red Crescent tried to rescue her. He didn't just speak up; he backed his words with action, pledging all track streaming proceeds alongside a personal $100,000 donation to support UNRWA’s critical humanitarian work.

Time and time again, Macklemore brings the conversation right back to where it belongs: the Palestinian people and the rights of Palestine refugees.

UNRWA USA expresses its sincere gratitude to Macklemore for his latest contribution. He has pledged a portion of his $1 million in net earnings from Ed Sheeran’s Tour to help fund UNRWA so it can continue providing critical aid, medical care, and emergency services to Palestine refugees.

Thank you, Macklemore, for your continued support of humanitarian aid and the preservation of Palestine refugees' human dignity.

🌧️ Rain or shine, you showed up for Palestine refugees.

Despite the cold and pouring rain, nearly 5,000 people came together in Brooklyn for the 2026 NYC Gaza 5K, raising more than $1.1 MILLION to support mental health and psychosocial services for children in Gaza. 🩵

For Rollo, who has volunteered with UNRWA USA for the past two years, the NYC Gaza 5K is about so much more than crossing a finish line.
“Connecting with so many other people who are here for Gaza is a moment of hope.”

From packet pick-up to the finish line, our volunteers showed up with dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to supporting Palestine refugees.
To every volunteer who braved the rain, gave their time, and helped make this year’s NYC Gaza 5K possible: THANK YOU! 🩵 And to our sponsors, performers, participants, and everyone who helped bring this day to life, thank you for showing up and making it unforgettable.

Despite the cold and pouring rain, nearly 5,000 people came together in Prospect Park for the 2026 NYC Gaza 5K, raising more than $1.1 MILLION to support mental health and psychosocial services for children in Gaza.

For Amna, running her very first 5K was more than a personal milestone. As a mother of a seven-year-old, she understands the importance of mental healthcare for children, especially those in Gaza experiencing unimaginable trauma, displacement, and loss.
“It’s important for us here in America to show them that there are people that care.”

After training for her first 5K, Amna was determined to show up for a cause close to her heart. And as she reminds us, even the smallest acts of support, whether running, fundraising, or donating $5 or $10, can make a meaningful difference for children in Gaza.
From first-time runners like Amna to longtime supporters, every step and every act of generosity helped make this year’s NYC Gaza 5K possible.

To everyone who braved the rain, walked, ran, fundraised, donated, and showed up for Palestine refugees: THANK YOU! 🩵 Your dedication is a powerful reminder that showing up for Gaza doesn’t end at the finish line.

Rain or shine, NYC shows up for Palestine 🇵🇸

The @unrwausa Gaza 5K was as successful as ever despite the rain in beautiful Prospect Park. Thanks to the thousands who showed up, over $1.2 million was raised to support the mental health of Gazan children at this incredibly critical time during the ongoing genocide.

This Gaza 5K follows in the footsteps of over a decade of races, raising money to support the children of Gaza and provide critical care on the ground. Thank you to every volunteer, every @unrwausa staff member, and every person who came out in the rain to show that the children of Gaza deserve a chance to just be a kid.
