Class is back in session! Last week, the UNT Wind Studies hosted our annual Convocation meeting where we welcomed almost 600 students for another great semester of ensembles and music making.

Tuesday, we jumped right into making music with a newly appointed conductor in each group! Andrew Trachsel is the conductor of the North Texas Wind Symphony, Amy Woody has stepped into her new role of conducting the Wind Orchestra, and newest faculty member, Katharine Reed, is conducting the Wind Ensemble!

We can’t wait to start sharing music with you beginning Thursday, September 10, live from the Murchison Performing Arts Center or across the globe on our livestream! 💚🦅
