Thank you to Piers for the quote on the 3rd slide.

What is UOETRC??

Whether you’re completely new to touch or already know how we play, University of Exeter Touch Rugby Club (UOETRC) has something for everyone!💚🤍

We’re a mixed-gender society with 4 BUCS teams, competing throughout the year and making our way to national rounds, alongside 2 club teams who get the chance to take on tournaments against nearby teams! 🙌🏻

Never played touch before? Don’t worry! Our development sessions are all about helping new players learn the game, build their skills and getting involved. 🫶🏻

Across the week, we have 5 touch training sessions:
🏉 3 BUCS sessions
🏉 2 Club sessions

But touch isn’t all we do… 👀

🏃‍♀️ Run clubs — coming in the next few weeks!
🏐 Netball — where we take on other societies!
🎉 Plus plenty of socials, tournaments, tours and everything in between.

All of this for £120 membership for the year! Buy your membership now ✅

So whether you’re looking to compete, get fit, meet new people, try something completely new or just be part of a great community, come and give UOETRC a go!

Message us if you have any questions 🙌🏻💚

Thinking about trying Touch Rugby at the University of Exeter? This is your sign 👀

We’re running THREE free taster sessions during Freshers’ Week! Whether you’ve played rugby before or have never touched a rugby ball, we want you to come and try. 💚

No experience? No problem. Our coaches will introduce you to the game, teach you the basics and get you involved from the very first session. 🙌

You don’t have to come alone, bring your friends, meet our committee, get to know our returning players and find out what UOETRC is all about. 👫🤝

Not sure how to get to The Crumb? We’ve got you, don’t worry! 🫶 We’ll be running a walking bus to the sessions, so you can meet us on campus and walk over together. It’s also the perfect chance to chat to our committee, ask any questions and get to know everyone before you even step onto the pitch! 💚

Our 2026/27 coaches will also be there throughout the sessions, bringing plenty of experience from the international stage and ready to answer any questions you might have.

📍 The Crumb, next to the Sports Park
 📅 15th, 16th & 17th September
🎟️ Taster session tickets are in our bio!

Make sure you download the Fixr app, it’s where you’ll find the majority of our events throughout the year.
Come give touch rugby a try you might just find your new favourite sport 👀💚
