Please join us in congratulating our Senior Scholar, Lisa Chen! 🎓💚💛

Lisa is graduating with a degree in Human Physiology and a minor in Psychology. After graduation, she plans to work as a CNA and in other healthcare-related roles while working toward enrollment in an RN program.

One of Lisa’s favorite memories at the Evans House was volunteering at the Eugene Marathon. Having participated all four years, she enjoyed supporting runners alongside fellow scholars and being part of an event that brought the community together.

Her advice to incoming Evans Scholars: “Don’t be afraid of asking for help! Not everyone will have the best answer, but they will try to offer advice or connect you with helpful resources.”

Being an Evans Scholar has provided Lisa with opportunities and experiences that have prepared her for future adventures and challenges. The scholarship allowed her to explore new opportunities throughout college with fewer worries and greater access to resources, and she is deeply grateful for the support of the Evans community.

Congratulations, Lisa! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see all that you achieve in the future. Thanks, Chick! 💚💛 by @uoevans_scholars

Please join us in congratulating our Senior Scholar, Molly Beyer! 🎓💚💛

Molly is graduating with a degree in Psychology. After graduation, she plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a school psychologist.

One of Molly’s favorite memories at the Evans House was bonding with her wonderful roommates and creating friendships that will last long after graduation.

Her advice to incoming Evans Scholars: “Reach out for help if you need it.”

Being an Evans Scholar has meant giving her family one less thing to worry about while providing opportunities to showcase what she can achieve through her hard work. The scholarship and community have helped her grow in ways she never would have otherwise.

Congratulations, Molly! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Thanks, Chick! 💚💛 by @uoevans_scholars
