Meet McLean Anderson, an Economics and Political Science major at the University of Utah who spent the summer researching spatial dust estimates using low-cost sensors in Northern Utah through the HAPPIEST program, part of the Summer Program for Undergraduate Research (SPUR).

A Ute tradition that goes out with a bang! 💥🏈

Interim Dean Becky Utz visited the Cannon Crew at Saturday’s @utahfootball game! Operated by Army ROTC cadets, the cannon fires after every Utah score, while cadets celebrate with pushups for every point on the board.

This longtime U tradition returned to the field last year, bringing back a piece of Utah football history that spans generations. Captain Frazer was even part of the Cannon Crew 25 years ago!
