Boxing 🥊 | @uon_boxing kicked off 2026 in spectacular fashion, securing multiple victories across the three-day @bucssport Boxing Championships 💥

In men's competition Athieren Kukendren returned to claim a gold medal for the second consecutive year, Niall Burtoft entered with only one bout of experience and left a champion, whilst Jayden Johnson claimed a stoppage victory just 30 seconds into the first round. Hana Bye produced an exceptional performance in the women's categories, defeating last year's champion and securing a stoppage victory in the finals 🔥

Congratulations to everyone involved in these successes 👏 You can read more about the #GreenandGold competing at the 2026 BUCS Boxing Championships by visiting the news feed linked in our bio 🔗
