If you prescribe exercise for pain and function, you may have had this moment: a patient asks about Pilates, and you’re weighing up evidence, practical application, and what you can deliver well.

We are thrilled to welcome Karen Finnin to Universal Practice as General Manager of our education platform, UP Edu.

Karen is a physiotherapist with more than 20 years of experience across healthcare, education, leadership, and business. She has held leadership roles across clinical practice, higher education, digital health, and Cirque du Soleil, and combines this experience with an MBA and a strong track record of building and scaling healthcare and education initiatives.

Karen will work at UP Edu alongside Abby De Krester - Head of Clinical Excellence and Sammy Prowse - Universal Practice Founder.

UP Edu May Intake wrap!

A huge congratulations to both our UP Physio Team and the attending students on an incredible May intake of UP Edu – Clinical Mat & Reformer Course, that we ran over the weekend.

We had a full course of inspired and passionate physiotherapists / allied health professionals in attendance.

All weekend, there was a constant conversation about how appreciative the students / attendees were of the course, knowledge and presenters. The UP Edu syllabus really is something else, and also provides such a nice reflection point in that what we offer at Universal Practice really is first class.

Following the May course and with more enquiries coming in, we have just opened a new July intake.

We look forward to exciting things happening with UP Edu in the coming months.

Well done again to our team and students! Awesome effort all round.
