This “kinda chic” trend has sent me down memory lane and I’m not mad about it 🥹

It’s kinda chic and actually pretty beautiful to look back and realise just how much life can change in such a short amount of time. And how much you can go through while somehow continuing to put one foot in front of the other.

The last year has looked nothing like how I thought it would.

Leaving a relationship I once thought was the one.
Losing a baby I had forever dreamt of having.
Walking away from the corporate world, the only career I’d known for over 10 years, to start my own business in a completely different industry.
Learning how to be on my own again.
Starting over at 29 when everyone seemed to be getting engaged, buying houses and having a family.
And somewhere amongst all of that, I have continued to run marathons, build a business, meet beautiful people, laugh until my stomach hurts and try my absolute hardest to still live this little life of mine to the fullest.

There have been some incredibly high highs and some lows I genuinely didn’t know how I would get through.

But maybe that’s what this year has taught me most, life doesn’t have to look the way you thought it would to still become something beautiful.

You can be heartbroken and hopeful.
Grieving and grateful.
Scared and excited.
Completely unsure of what comes next and still keep moving towards it.

I don’t have everything figured out, not even close 😂 But I’m really proud of the woman who kept going when life looked completely different to the picture she had in her head.

And maybe starting again isn’t such a scary thing after all because it is kinda chic to begin again as many times as you need 🤍

♡ Pillows, blankets and of course some good energy!!

Some clients choose to lay on their lounge or bed for convenience, it’s completely up to you and what you are most comfortable with!

SPEND MONDAY WITH ME ✨

One of my favourite things about Upkeep is that no two days really look the same 🤎

Most days I’m on the road coming to you, but this Monday was a little bit of everything, an early gym session, dog walk, into three studio appointments and two mobile appointments!

Flowers, lunch & dinner packed, a cheeky wine and a very late pack-down in the dark (for me anyway I’m a grandma 👵)

Five beautiful sets of brows later and I was definitely ready for bed!
