[Swipe] You may have heard of the $87.5 million lawsuit against Riverside Abstract. You haven't heard what happened to Yvonne Williams. ➡️

Someone filed a change to her corporation's official records with the NY Department of State — rerouting her legal mail to an address in New Jersey. She never authorized it. The State never verified who submitted it.

A court looked at the altered record and treated it as valid.

She brought it to the DA. Nothing.

Fraud, laundered into paperwork — and every office that could have stopped it looked away.

**The People's Coalition To Stop Deed Theft X Black Lives Matter Greater NY Announce Emergency March, Press Conference, and Protest Demanding Justice for the Charrington Family**

**NEW YORK, NY** — On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, The People's Coalition To Stop Deed Theft X Black Lives Matter Greater NY will hold an emergency press conference, and protest to demand justice for the Charrington family and account.

Participants will meet at the Attorney General's Office at 28 Liberty Street, where the press conference and protest will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The demonstration follows what the coalition describes as the abduction of 84-year-old Alman Charrington, father of Carmella Charrington, while the family continues fighting to save their home of more than 60 years at 212 Jefferson Avenue in Brooklyn.

According to the Charrington family, Mr. Charrington was removed by ambulance, family members were not permitted to accompany him, and they have not been informed of his whereabouts. The family states that Mr. Charrington requires daily medication and that they have been unable to communicate with him or verify that he is receiving appropriate medical care. They say repeated requests for information about his location have gone unanswered.

The People's Coalition To Stop Deed Theft says it is deeply concerned for Mr. Charrington's health, safety, and constitutional rights. The coalition and the Charrington family also express concern that Mr. Charrington could be transported to Georgia. They oppose any placement with his estranged wife, alleging that she previously committed acts of violence against him. Those allegations have not been adjudicated by a court. by @upliftbrooklyn

Black Brooklynites have been fighting the demolition of the Slave Theater since 2016 & the deed fraud and theft of the Black Lady Theatre since 2018 !

We will NOT stand for this revisionist history that questions current & past struggles against gentrification & displacement within #BlackBrooklyn .

In 2018, convicted criminal and slumlord, Mendel Gold, stole the property from The Hardy family. Please know that there is still an on-going legal and community battle against Zionist developer Mendel Gold to restore 750 Nostrand Avenue back to the Black community .

BROOKLYN "Can't Wait" lock the all up Bed Stuys Judge Harold King and Sam Sprei here are the deets the story is in the Real Deal:

Sam Sprei, a Brooklyn real estate operator, and former Kings County Supreme Court Justice Edward Harold King were charged with criminal wire fraud conspiracy for allegedly diverting investor escrow funds.
The fraud scheme involved Sprei and King soliciting $6.5 million from investors, allegedly for a Freehold, New Jersey, real estate bankruptcy sale, by requiring them to deposit funds in King’s escrow account as proof of liquidity.
They face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
