There are many parts to telling a great story, especially when you want to capture the attention of your audience. It can easily become a complicated process and you don’t want that. My dear @kennetholusanya reached out to me a while ago and shared his vision for this masterpiece with me. We discussed how best to execute the audio and video over the phone. Since we @upparuumstudios produced his debut album “Scarlet Whisper” I was certain I knew what he wanted. We planned and prepped, myself, @dare_thecreator @givensmusic @dave_owoseni @directordips @ayomidemaclean all came together to make this masterpiece. Each person played their role perfectly.

📣 Exciting Announcement! 🎉🌍 We are thrilled to share our latest project with you: a captivating short documentary on E-learning using the “Nigeria Learning Passport” for UNICEF. It has been an incredible journey for the UppaRuum team, filled with nostalgia as we revisited secondary schools, witnessing the assembly grounds, classrooms, and students in their uniforms. The enthusiasm of the students was truly inspiring, and their impeccable conduct made communication effortless. We had the privilege of speaking with three remarkable students: Bolade, Patience, and Dara, who opened up about their academic challenges and how the Nigeria Learning Passport has transformed their educational journey. It’s heartwarming to witness how this initiative has enabled them to excel in subjects they once struggled with.

Collaborating with UNICEF on a cause like this has been a dream come true for UppaRuum. As a visual communication company, we believe in the power of storytelling to drive positive change. This project aligns perfectly with our vision to amplify impactful stories that resonate with audiences worldwide. We are happy to contribute to the noble mission of enhancing educational opportunities and empowering young minds in Nigeria.

Last Saturday, we had a truly beautiful experience learning about storytelling, cinematography, and lighting. I am grateful to my local church, CCI (Celebration Church International) Egbeda Campus @cci__egbeda for providing the opportunity to engage with these amazing minds. The class was very interactive and hands-on. I have always believed that filmmaking is about discovering more authentic ways to tell compelling stories. To be authentic, we must first master the art and technique of filmmaking, allowing us to share our stories freely because we now understand the "why" behind them.

I also want to express my gratitude for the support of @upparuumstudios; we truly have the best team.

I have learned that people mostly show you their true selves when you show them that you are genuinely interested in them. To achieve this, first put down your camera and engage in a conversation with them. Invited by UNICEF, with NURTW and the Lagos State Government, we captured mothers learning, fathers supporting, and men stepping up to spread the word.
