Just listed, a courtyard house by Amin Tadj Studio in Glenford. Amin Tadj Studio designed the house, finished in 2026 on 2.2 acres in Glenford, six minutes from the village. The plan wraps three sides of a courtyard, and the main room and the primary suite open straight onto it. Polished concrete runs under exposed Glulam beams with a Stûv wood stove at the center and Reform cabinetry in the kitchen; the bedrooms are Belgian white oak and the baths are Japanese tile with oak vanities and heated floors. Outside there is a stone-lined pool, a fire pit and a creek along the back line. The cladding is thermally modified Finnish Lunawood over European triple-pane windows, built to come close to Passive House standards and run on electricity alone. The lot sold in August 2024. In May the finished house held Sense of Place, a show by more than twenty Hudson Valley artists and studios, and Dwell, Interior Design and Architect have all published it.
