SoCal Summer Vibes and Views, Rose Colored Glasses and Delusions

Such a fun little evening walk yesterday! Great Views, Great Conversation and such a lovely sunset!! Love having a not so “hidden gem” pretty much in my backyard at the moment! These also really make me miss photography way more than I have been lately….

Needed a day in Nature… definitely got just that. Foggy morning start at #irvineregionalpark .Spent most of my day at the #oczoo with Ziggy the Jaguar and his Brother and the Peacocks… the back of my camera is to die for! Can’t wait for some real time to go through them all. #peaceful #peacockswerentsopeaceful #peacock #foggymorning #photography #photooftheday #naturephotography #wildlife #wildlifeofinstagram #wildlifeonearth #wildlifephotography #nature #naturelovers #wanderlust #mapdots taken in Irvine Regional Park by @uptwnchic

Hike # 2 of the week in the books! Weir Canyon you did not disappoint! I’ve done Santiago Oaks before but never this area and today showed me what I’ve missed out on. Honestly my phone shots don’t do this justice at all! Those Views were stunning! Didn’t expect the difficult trail today but we did it…. And survived climbing an actual mountain lol! Damn proud of my 10 miles of hiking this week! Will pdefinitely be back for more of this.

So grateful I got up and chose to press on with my plans today despite how I was feeling mentally. I had put this hike out to a few people and no one was able or wanted to go and I questioned going alone for a long time. But I went and it was one of the most beautiful days. Met one of the sweetest older couples who let me tag along for part of the walk and ended up hiking 6.5 miles… pretty darn proud of myself today!

Will never understand how people stay stuck in their comfort zone when places and views like this exist in this world. This world is massive and there’s so much to see and do…. Heal yourselves, step out of fear and see where life can take you. #blessed #travel #nature #explore #exploremore #exploretheworld #wanderlust #travelphotography #travelgram #whatheavenlookslike #photography #photooftheday #losangelesnationalforest #sangabrielmountains #hiking #mapdot #anothermapdotdown #adventure #mountaintops taken in San Gabriel Mountains by @uptwnchic

First post in nearly two years… felt like it needed to be a special one… today truly was one of those days I’ll remember for lifetimes. It’s been so long since I’ve been hiking, been in the mountains and truly fully immersed in nature. My soul (is currently exhausted) is absolutely alive and rejuvenated. The way nature can cleanse and restore you mind body and soul is truly the greatest experience you can have in my opinion and I’ve definitely lived and experienced a lot. Blessed beyond words and so grateful. @ritualized_holistics I’ll keep bragging and you can tell me to stop whenever but thank you. I can’t tell you what it meant to me to be able to experience today and how many beautiful memories it brought back.
