Looking back on where we started to where we are now can sometimes sadden the Soul.

Today's Miami (World) has become an outward reflection of Wealth Hoarding, Greed, & Lies.

Let's continue the works towards a Miami (World) where Quality of Life for All Living Things is priority.

Let's not forget to Live and Reflect - Love, Gratitude, Authenticity, & Happiness

Let's not make up History but be a part of creating it!

Part 4: Same days, new times!!!
It's that time of year again and we are asking for all hands on deck as we prep the Farm for the coming season.
We encourage our CSA members and those who support the good works that we do to come out and embody yourself to how the food You and your Family eat is grown.

* NOTE: excessive heat season is still going strong, through at least the end of the month! Prepare accordingly, bring lots of water, and take breaks in the shade when you can! by @urbangreenworks

Volunteers needed! At Cerasee Farm in Liberty City every Saturday & Sunday this month! Check @urbangreenworks recent posts about the details for each weekend, but DO make time to come by at least once!

Cerasee Farm, if you haven't been there before is a thriving community-led space in the middle of Liberty City, that we love for its transformative nature - it is always shapeshifting, growing, changing; it feels the opposite of stagnant - so alive! Come help Cerasee transform again, as we move from hot dormant season to planting/growing season! by @urbangreenworks

Cost of living easily outpaces hard work. Low wages, skyrocketing rent, and a single emergency like medical debt can put someone on the street no matter how much value they offer.
This is the dilemma that faces south Florida (Miami and many other urban centers across the U.S.). Yet our politicians continue to support development versus quality of Life improvements.
UGW (and many other organizations) sits in the heart of this growing dilemma.
So we ask those residents the can to come out and volunteer (social responsibility) at #ceraseefarm this month and see how one's individual efforts can better the Lives of those around us.

Started a strong conversation with Dr. Dunn about @miamicenterforracialjustice partnering with UGW's AgriWorks program for youth and young adults. Only time will tell where this all goes.
