Ropin’ at Youth Nationals 😎

From Head Belayer, Charlie Lamb, “We are proud of the squad and the product they put up on the wall. Climbers were always safe, belays were consistent, and belayers were professional. Athlete safety and a high level of belayer experience was achieved. This team truly delivered on our program pillars.”

Episode 62 with Meagan and C Lad is out now! 🎙️

Please show some love to @megsknecht and @_c.lad_! Meagan Knecht and C Lad are both level 5 belayers in the USA who are also helping out with belay training videos for World Climbing. In this episode, we’ll debunk the myth that women can’t belay men or heavier climbers, we’ll learn about the problems with Assisted Braking Device (ABD) requirements in gyms, and of course, we'll talk about how to get into high level belaying and how they became SPONSORED belayers thanks to Trango."

You can find the episode on Youtube, or any other platform you listen to podcasts on! Links to the website/YT are linked in the bio. ⬆️

That’s a wrap on the 2026 World Climbing Para Series in Salt Lake City! Here’s a look at the belayers’ adventures on and off the field of play.

From Head Belayer, @toby_munroe_1 , “Watching each one of you grow throughout the event and subtly figure out ways to work more cohesively with your partner(s) was nothing short of awe inspiring. Your self awareness and desire to be constantly improving was noticed and appreciated. The vibe of the event was amazing…ferocious competition engulfed with genuine positivity, compassion, support, and camaraderie (athletes and belayers alike). Wow…wow…wow”

Great job, belayers!
