It promises to be a nice fall weather still for us to explore Toronto East Chinatown! The area offers many sketch opportunities such as the bustling Chinese grocery stores, cafes/restaurants, and various mixed commercial/residential buildings that line Gerrard Street. The Gerrard/Broadview intersection also features the iconic Zhong Hua-Men Archway, as well as the Riverdale Public Library, Bridgepoint Healthcare Centre, and the historic (former) Don Jail building.

Address: 370 Broadview Avenue, Toronto (Meet-up point in front of Riverdale Public Library)

When: Saturday, Oct 10, 2026 1-3pm

Hosts: Vivian and Sonya

1pm: We will meet in front of Riverdale Public Library (370 Broadview Ave) for short meet & greet. If you are new and have never attended a meetup this year, please do come and introduce yourself to hosts.

3pm - We will meet back in front of Library for a throwdown and group photo.

Some photos from our late August meetup at Guild Park & Gardens! The weather cooperated despite the chance of rain - a few sketchers left before the throwdown but it was a lovely meetup on an otherwise “sketchy” day! Thank you to Judy for hosting. by @usktoronto
