The job is the job… but what you do outside of it? That’s what keeps you going ✨

Laugh when you can. Go where you can ✨
Be present while you’re there 💃🕺🏽

Volunteer when you can… what else are you doing?
We took 120 military police students to march in America’s largest illuminated night parade during Fiesta. ✨

Boots on the ground. LITERALLY 🪖
In the safest way.✨ (My Views Only!) 😘

How many years did you serve? 🇺🇸

Me? Oh… just 18. 🫡✨

From boot camp to becoming military police, traveling the world, building lifelong friendships, becoming a mother, and growing through every season in between…

It’s hard to fit 18 years of memories, milestones, and people who truly changed my life into one reel, but these clips hold a little bit of everything. ♥️

Some moments were funny.
Some were hard.
Some completely changed me.

May 13, 2008 ➡️ 18 years later.

And somehow… we’re still here. 🤍

If you served, drop your branch and how many years in the comments. ⚓️🇺🇸”

🎥🎬 PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!! 🇺🇸🎉

📍 San Antonio, Texas
🎉 Fiesta | Flambeau Parade
🗓️ April 2023

Sometimes you just gotta turn the music up and live in the moment. ✨

Hands up, singing your song, not worrying about nothing else. 😌

Just good energy, good people, and memories you don’t forget. 💃🕺🏽

Because for a moment, yeah, it’s a party in the USA. 🇺🇸🎉

✨ (My views only.) 😘

(This was two years ago when we volunteered to march in the Fiesta Flambeau Parade. )✨

Where are these sailors now? 👀⚓👇🏽

⚓️🇺🇸 HAPPY 251ST BIRTHDAY, U.S. NAVY! 💙

Today was a FULL one! I had the privilege of serving as a board member for Bluejacket of the Quarter and Junior Sailor of the Quarter. Before the boards began, I helped prepare a few first-timers who weren’t familiar with reporting procedures, then conducted their inspections once they entered.

It felt good being on the other side of the table, looking for the cream of the crop! Being apart of the selection process to recognize Sailors whose hard work, dedication, and performance set them apart is always rewarding.

After that I scrambled over to security where I graded about 50 tests for Training Tuesday (knocking out these ASTs, if you know, you know 😂), spent time mentoring junior Sailors, enjoyed some fellowship with my peers, and I even received a special package from my longest-running and favorite pen pal, my mom, Bridgette! 📦♥️🙌🏽

Did I get lunch? ABSOLUTELY NOT! 😂

But what better way to celebrate the Navy’s birthday than spending the day doing what makes the Navy what it is? Developing Sailors, recognizing excellence, building relationships, and carrying on the traditions of those who served before us.

251 years of service, sacrifice, tradition, and excellence. Here’s to the Sailors who came before us, those serving today, and the generations still to come! ⚓️💙

HOOYAH, NAVY! 🇺🇸

Have you ever got sprayed with OC? 😮‍💨🔥
LET EM KNOWWW. 🔥

This course will mentally AND physically mess with you.🫪

Once they get hit with the OC, members must perform: MACH takedowns, baton strikes, blocks, baton retention, and fight the Red Man while continuing to secure the threat. 🚨

Most people who don’t pass? Mentally, they convince themselves they can’t get through the spray. 🫣

That’s why I love seeing girls push through this course. 👏🏽

Because that spray will make you feel like your face is on fire. It feels hard to breathe. Your eyes slam shut. You coughing, blinking, disoriented, trying to fight through it. 😵‍💫 &&& don’t let me forget the SNOTTT. 😭😂 That OC will clear EVERYTHING out!!!

&& Yeah, she had a moment where she fell… but she got back up, pushed through, and continued securing the threat. 💪🏽

Navy through my eyes… ROLL THE TAPE!!! 🎬

“Where the food at?” 📍 @twinpeaksrestaurants

Just a few sailors enjoying a lunch break after an event. 🖐️🤣

And before y’all say anything… YES, I know my stomach was poking at the end.
That’s between me and the gym!!!

10/10 would do it again. ♥️

Navy Day at the Alamo… 🥳🪅
Same place, same mission… just not all the same people. 😩😊 Bittersweet, but still grateful to show up and represent for the Navy presence that’s out here in San Antonio. 3rd one’s a cHaRm. ✨

Fiesta celebrates San Antonio history and honors the heroes of the Alamo, where Texian defenders made their stand, and the Battle of San Jacinto, where a surprise victory secured Texas’ independence.

Last weekend of Fiesta enjoy it!! 🪅
