Ready to help shape the future of the strongest society on campus?

Our Annual General Meeting is your opportunity to run for an Executive position, have your say in the direction of the Club, and join the team that will lead USYD Barbell in 2027. (and get some free food 😋)

📅 Tuesday 27 October
⏰ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
📍 Law Annex Lecture Theatre 024

We are recruiting for the following positions:

President:
⭐ Lead the Club and oversee all operations, strategy, and long-term development.

Vice President:
⭐ Support the President and help coordinate the Executive team.

Secretary:
⭐ Manage administration, meeting records, and Club compliance.

Treasurer:
⭐ Oversee Club finances, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Events Director (x2):
⭐ Plan and deliver competitions, socials, workshops, and Club events.

Marketing Director (x2):
⭐ Manage social media, create promotional content, and grow the Club's reach.

Multimedia Director (x2):
⭐ Lead branding, graphic design, merchandise, and visual assets for the Club.

Sponsorships Director (x2):
⭐ Build industry partnerships and secure opportunities that benefit members.

No prior committee experience is required. If you're passionate about the gym, community building, content creation, events, or leadership, we'd love to see you get involved!

What a day.

From the big lifts to the energy in the crowd, Battle of the Universities brought together some incredible athletes and an even better community.

A massive thank you to every athlete who competed, everyone who came down to support, our volunteers, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the day possible.

🚨 UPDATE: BOU registration is now OPEN TO ALL — you don’t have to be a uni student to compete.

Battle of the Universities is going down 19 July @ Breakthrough Fitness, Merrylands and spots are capped at 28 each for the Sanctioned and Novice sessions.

Non-uni athletes can register for the remaining available spots from now until entries close on 27 June.

IMPORTANT: Non-uni students will not be eligible for the prize pool.
