October events are coming up! ๐Ÿ‘Š Calling all challengers!๐Ÿ‘Šย  On October 8th, join us again for Fight Night: Round 2! This is for fighting game fans and newcomers alike. Battle it out, connect with fellow players, and claim prizes through a raffle for your victories. Don't miss this night! We'll post additional details on rules and guidelines soon! ๐ŸŽƒHALLOWEEN EVENT!๐ŸŽƒ - Join us on October 29 from 4 PM to 7 PM for our second big event of the semester, similar to our launch party! We have a variety of activities planned, including a costume contest, free food, candy prizes, and more. Definitely mark your calendar; this is something you won't want to miss! โ€ผ๏ธWEโ€™RE SO BACKโ€ผ๏ธ Welcome to the newly renovated Gaming Lab! Previously, this space consisted of two rooms: the interactive gaming room and the PC room, which are now combined into one. A few things to know about this room: This room will host classes and workshops throughout every semester. Schedules will be posted soon and displayed on digital signage. There will be times when the room is unavailable for a few hours, so please be patient. We have 10 stations total, with both PCs and console are on these 10 stations. The right side of the room, formerly the PC room, has 6 stations with high-performance PCs and is designated for PC users. The left side features 4 stations and a racing rig, prioritizing console users. During the day, please use the side of the room that corresponds to your setup: PC users on the right and console users on the left. Console users should check out equipment and use the space as they do in the main Basement area. After 8:00 PM, all stations become first-come, first-served. PC users should follow the usual GGLeap procedure. If you are new, please visit the front desk to set up your account. Users receive approximately 2 hours of playtime. If all PCs are occupied, you will be placed in a wait queue and notified when a station becomes available. You have 5โ€“10 minutes to claim your spot; if you do not arrive, we will offer it to the next person. See you all soon! #utabasement #utalibraries Picture of the newly renovated Gaming Lab! Discover how to repair ๏ฟฝeverything from small and mid-sized items to ๏ฟฝelectronics, textiles & woodworking! You will be asked to sign a waiver upon entry. Fight night:Round 2 is around the corner! Here's additional details of how the event will go! Hope to see you soon! Rules and guideline 1. Get your fight card at the desk by the big Tv. Play at least one game to enter the raffle. More games (up to 9) mean more chances to win. Raffle closes at 6:30 pm; drawing is at 6:50 pm. Note: If you win once you canโ€™t win again. This gives others a chance to win. 2. Staff will stamp your card after each game. 3. Play one set per turn if others are waiting. 4. There are 9 stations: 8 with our selected fighting games, 1 as bring-your-own. 5. Bring only unmodded, unique fighting games not on our list. No franchise repeats, mods (e.g., modded Smash Bros), arcade cabinets, or Tetris count for the fight card. (Sorry Tetris gang) 6. Make friends and play fair!
