Psychology seniors, we have two events coming up that were developed just for you!
On October 7 from 4:00–5:00 in Lupton 120, we’ll have a workshop to help you get more comfortable with networking, introducing yourself to professionals, and interviewing. We’ll practice elevator pitches and interview skills, talk about how to make professional connections, and have pizza while we do it.

Then on October 28, you’ll have a chance to actually use those skills at our Psychology Seniors’ Speed Networking Event, where you can meet and talk with professionals.

If you’re planning to come to Speed Networking, you’ll need to attend the October 7 workshop first. Bring a friend and gain these needed skills before graduation! by @utcpsych

Shoutout to senior Ellie Minneci for presenting at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR)! Ellie shared her work, “Narratives of Calling,” reflecting on Catholic sisters and exploring themes of culture, community, and continuity. Her research highlights the power of storytelling in understanding vocation and identity. NCUR is a premier national conference that brings together undergraduate students from across the country to showcase their research, scholarship, and creative work offering a platform to engage with peers, faculty mentors, and professionals in a wide range of fields.

Just a peak at some of tonight’s performances! A big thank you to all of the amazing faculty and staff across campus who put themselves out there to support our students!!! Thank you Dr. O’Leary, Dean Frost, Professor Heinrici, Dr. Overton, Professor Byers, Hayleigh Weissenbach, Dr. Teaford, Dr. Huber, and Dr. Walker (although it’s her lab so she didn’t have a choice). Our student co-hosts were also phenomenal - Cassie Almond brought the dad jokes, Jaxson Hill tested our knowledge with a kahoot, and Maya Saxe stumped us all (except Navin) with a spelling bee break. Several other students contributed to the planning, snack carrying, and ticket table work that made this possible (thank you). Finally, we also like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who came, had fun, and helped us fund student research! #antitalentshow by @utcpsych
