✨ 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇𝗮’𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂 ✨ This month’s theme: 𝗔 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲

Each month, I curate a selection from the gallery — a focused constellation of works shaped by a shared emotional or conceptual thread.

For this edition, I was drawn to the many shades of blue and the ways each artist gives the colour its own character. Through synthetic sapphire, anodised titanium, enamel and painted surfaces, blue takes on different depths, textures and intensities.

Sometimes a subtle accent, sometimes a vivid presence. A colour that can evoke open skies, deep water, or the memory of a place we carry within us.

Jewellery brings these associations close to the skin. The blue we choose to wear becomes personal — an echo of our mood, a spark of imagination, a little brightness in an ordinary day.

The ICEberg brooches reflect a growing indifference towards nature. Their forms recall melting ice, fragile and in constant transformation. The material appears to flow and shift, building layer by layer into organic structures. Each piece becomes a wearable reflection on time, change, and the delicate balance of natural systems. Die Broschen der Serie ICEberg spiegeln eine zunehmende Gleichgültigkeit gegenüber der Natur wider. Ihre Formen erinnern an schmelzendes Eis, sind fragil und im ständigen Wandel. Das Material scheint zu fließen und sich Schicht für Schicht organisch aufzubauen. Jede Arbeit wird so zu einer tragbaren Reflexion über Zeit, Veränderung und das fragile Gleichgewicht der Natur. Ute Kolar’s new blue earrings continues her refined exploration of enamel, copper, surface, and structure — moving from the luminous whites of her 𝗘𝗶𝘀𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 collection, selected for 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, into a vivid blue palette that feels made for summer.

Its enamel surface reveals subtle variations in tone and texture, evoking mineral formations, reflected light, deep water, and the quiet intensity of the sea.

A once-in-a-lifetime encounter of art, nature and food.
For @steinbeisserorg exceptional dining experience with Zen Buddhist nun @jeongkwansnim at Zukunftshof, Vienna (5-6 June 2026), I created handcrafted spoons in walnut wood and rose root from my childhood garden in Austria.
Each spoon carries the memory of the garden it came from.

A red sculptural presence by Ute Kolar.

Made from wood and brass, this new brooch unfolds like an abstract flower — bold, organic, and intensely tactile.

Its surface is built through rhythm and repetition, creating a structure that feels almost alive: delicate in detail, powerful in presence.
