Where creativity meets learning!

The walls of UWG’s Early Learning Center are bursting with color, imagination and opportunities for discovery!

Created through a collaboration between the College of Education and UWG’s Art Atelier, this mural and sensory wall transforms an everyday learning space into an interactive experience for our youngest Wolves. 🐺🖌️

From local animals to hands-on elements, every detail was thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration and inspire young minds to see the world in new ways.

We love seeing what happens when art, creativity and education come together!

Our Block 1 students are gaining hands-on experience with one of the most important tools in a teacher’s toolbox: creating effective lesson plans. 🍩 Donuts with the Deans! ☕️

We had a great time connecting with our students at yesterday’s Donuts with the Deans! Students stopped by the Education Center to enjoy donuts and coffee, meet and chat with our College of Education deans, and pick up Pack Cards and tokens for our vending machine.

We’re excited to share that our Pre-K program has received a grant from Tanner Health Care to bring a new mobile kitchen cart to our learning environment for the 2026–2027 school year! This innovative resource will give students hands-on opportunities to connect and have fun educational experiences throughout the year.

Happy International Literacy Day!

Today, we’re celebrating the power of literacy and the spaces that help future educators bring it to life. The UWG College of Education Literacy Den is a research-informed, inclusive library where students can explore diverse children’s and adolescent literature, plan lessons, conduct research, and discover resources to support literacy instruction.

From coursework to field experiences, the Literacy Den helps prepare future educators to create meaningful, inclusive literacy experiences for every learner. ❤️📖
