🌸 On a personal note 🌸:

I would have never guessed that the girl behind me in that class at 9 am and the other that just giggled with her friend in front of me at a class on Saturdays, were gonna be here with me in Marie Antoinette’s domains almost 18 years later.

18 years of Phoenix, concerts, trips, concert trips, food, photos with food, photos and food, conversations, little - very little- arguments and misunderstandings. But here, figuratively and literally under the rain.

Me explota el corazón y mis pies (y mi cartera 😆) ya no pueden más. Gracias por contagiarme con tooooodo ese amor estas semanas. ¡Fue el mejor septiembre! Que toda esa energía que dieron en la pista 🕺🔥 y esos votos que me hicieron llorar en cada ceremonia (Im a cancer ♋️ , Im sorry) los hagan amarse aún más, y alcanzar todo lo que quieran juntos ya sea en París, Buenos Aires, Bayona, Oviedo, Londres, Miami o donde quiera que los lleve el universo.

Un placer haber sido parte de estos momentos tan especiales entre el mar y el Sena, con mucho champagne, palabras en francés, inglés, español y alemán, aperitivos, paella, charcutería y claro que sí… 🐰 Bad Bunny (en NINGUNA boda faltó Safaera… ¿qué bien elijo a mis amigos no?).

Los amo, en esta vida parisina y en todas las que vengan.

My first encounter with Annecy was in 2021, during the summer. The mountains took me by surprise, and this time, during winter was the same, the sentiment got bigger.

Annecy and its surroundings are not just beautiful, are peaceful and alive. Having a coffee up there was special.

Even me, a city rat, cant avoid to fantasize of a cabin there isolating myself from everyone for a month. Or two. Or a few more… How couldn’t I ? Have you look at that view ? 🫶🏔️ by @valeriaverar

Ojalá hablar un poquito de este dialecto de alemán. Me conformo con encontrarme con esta ciudad y disfrutar un viernes viendo a Cézanne, ver Rothkos, Bacons y más escuchando lo nuevo de LCD Sound Harry Styles, pintando con acuarelas y tratando de cachar alguna palabra por ahí: Bitte, Black, Achtung, Danke y poco más.

Suiza es muy cool.

☃️ Tal vez porque vengo de una ciudad donde no cae ni un copito de nieve o porque a los parisinos les cambia el humor inmediatamente con la combinación sol+ jardines nevados. Ríen, juegan, te hablan 🧐😅🤌🏻

Las Tullerías me regalaron hoy unas postales que voy a imprimir, porque quién sabe si en otros 11 años (los que llevo aquí), caiga nieve como hoy. Nieve mágica. Jeje Cursi. com. fr. Mx / nostalgiaDeInicioDeAño

Único bemol: qué desesperante es caminar sin los zapatos adecuados, pero ¿para qué comprar unos si esto no pasa cada año? 🥲

📌 Así fue el día que me conmovió la retrospectiva de #DavidHockney.

La inspiración por la vitalidad de sus obras me duró varios meses y decidí compartir esta y otras experiencias con el arte, la cultura pop o lo que me emociona de distintas maneras en mi día a día en un Newsletter al que nombré #BreviarioCultural (espero poder alimentarlo cada semana).

“Viviendo en una ciudad con una oferta infinita, me siento culpable de no ser más constante (en ver arte) es por eso que quiero hablar de lo enriquecedor y cautivante que fue el ver un repaso de la obra – más bien de la vida entera – de un artista como David Hockney.

No tenía idea del tamaño de la exhibición (ocupaba los tres o cuatro pisos del edificio), ni del tamaño de artista que es.

Como espectadora promedio, me puso a reflexionar al instante. Me cautivaron los colores y lo sencillode sus miradas hacia escenas que parecen simples y cotidianas…

Tiene una mirada muy única sobre las relaciones interpersonales y con poco te hace querer seguir descubriendo qué pasaba en esa pieza. Sus pinturas son de esas donde te imaginas diálogos, el después o antes de esas historias o las imaginas como una película”…

Postales #1

Hay muchos tipos de París. Y definitivamente, lo mejor es tener una probadita de todos. Que sí, que la ciudad la parte en dos un río y hay gente que no cruza nunca de un lado a otro. Error. Hay vida después del Marais y después del Canal. E incluso - se murmura- pasando Trocadero.

El chiste está en abrazar lo bueno, lo malo y lo feo. Aunque dure 1, 2, 3 u 11 años (🥵).

This is the story about a girl named ✨Lucky✨

Lucky enough to see all her Britpop idols live, not once but twice or even three times. 🥲

Last Saturday, my Britpop scrapbook got its golden sticker with #Oasis at #Wembley. Of course it was my first time, by 2005 when I was obsessed with The Importance of being Idle they were so on the edge of breaking up that it was only Noel singing 😆.

I couldn’t stop smiling, and then crying all along my favourite being played (The Masterplan). And Cigarettes and Alcohol with all the massive jumping, a super happy Liam Gallagher explaining he wears a bucket hat not a “beanie”, while Noel was ecstatic while inviting the 80,000 people to sing Don’t look back in anger… and the perfect ending with Champagne Supernova (it was beautiful 😭).

And after Travis (x4), Pulp (x2), Noel and Liam on their solo shows, Noel with Damon (🥲), and of course, my favourites, Blur (x4), I’m just trying to put in video (the worst ones) and words how this genre has given me some of the best memories of my life.

Do you think Iife will give us the chance to see Oasis a second time?

Una semanita en Las Vegas. Un pequeño vórtice en medio del desierto donde me sentía en esa realidad alterna de cuando Biff se vuelve millonario en Volver al futuro, o cuando Johnny Depp tiene casi convulsiones por el mal viaje y tantas luces en Fear and Loathing…

Pero qué delicia pasar una semana a 45 grados con amigos, tacos, alberca, pancakes y mis máximos ídolos del pop. En otro momento cuento por qué he visto a los Backstreet Boys 6 veces, me sé sus cumpleaños, a qué disco corresponde cada canción de las 25 que cantaron y como una semana después sigo impactada por lo que vi en #TheSphere.

Some souvenirs from:
The day Lau gave me a PSG candle 🕯️ 🔵🔴
Lau bought the worst wine ever
I bought sushi that she didn’t touch because she doesn’t eat raw fish
We complained about life in France (as we’ve done for the past 10 years and despite of the beautiful sunsets we’ll continue with the dissatisfaction, which is of course, part of migrating)
We caught up on our TV/films tight schedule (she is only starting #ThePitt which I finished in 3 days)
We enjoyed our picnic as much as any of the other weekly dates we have.

Are you luck enough to have a friend that you meet around 2-3 times per week?

Because I do. 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️
