Also taking the Island Pulse stage this Friday: Valley Rockers featuring Nick Kurosawa! 🌴🎶

Valley Rockers brings a soulful blend of roots and lovers rock reggae with a modern island vibration. Formed in 2021, the band has been crafting warm, conscious rhythms and heartfelt melodies that honor the golden era of reggae while moving it forward with their own distinctive sound.

At the foundation is Trummy on drums, keeping a solid heartbeat steeped in classic one-drop tradition. Braddah B on keys adds deep textures, while Shadowmon (Nick Cockett) holds down the low end with basslines that carry a legacy of Hawaiian music from the renowned Cockett family. Fronting the band are the dynamic voices of Leighna and Nick Kurosawa, the soulful voice also known for his work on the Bombye808 project and solo releases, whose harmonies become one with his guitar in every performance. Valley Rockers channels the timeless spirit of reggae through a fresh, island-born perspective. Their music flows between meditative roots and smooth lovers rock, driven by themes of unity, love, and everyday life through a fresh, island-born perspective.

Catch Valley Rockers featuring Nick Kurosawa live at Island Pulse this Friday, alongside Ooklah the Moc and a producer showcase by Shadowmon! 🔊✨
