My days have been filled with research, and developing new work. Some of the questions that have accompanied me through years of choreography are finding new expressions through movement, music and images.

I love those moments when different experiences, encounters, and ideas suddenly begin to connect, opening doors to something entirely unexpected.

And yet, in the midst of all this creative activity, I’m reminded of the importance of making space. To breathe, to be present, to experience life. Sometimes the thing we can do is leave the studio and let the world challenge our imagination.

There are some interesting things taking shape, and I’m looking forward to sharing more soon.

Warning: This is not a fast IG/Social media little dance routine 😉 As spring begins in Brasil, I find myself remembering Timeless Brasil, something I directed with some of my lovely students. This is just the opening sequence.

A tribute to lightness, beauty, and joy. To the freedom of movement, the warmth of human connection, and the simple pleasure of being alive.

There is something profound about joy. It is not the absence of life’s complexities, but a way of embracing life in its fullness. Beauty, too, is not merely something we see. It is something we experience, create, and share.

I recognize how much of what continues to inspire my work was already present here: movement, music, human connection, a natureza and the simple wonder of being alive.
