A mobile spine will take you anywhere -
an immobile one, eventually, holds you still.

Spinal mobility + strength is an investment anyone can make in themselves with some patience and discipline. The carry over into sports / lifting / jiu jitsu / ninja warrior is without question.

We can’t train / tone / strengthen what we can’t reach; my spine is the superhighway to access my full movement potential, and so is yours. ✨

Sweats and sweaty Pilates - name a better combo. 🖤

I love a lot of movement practices as you can tell with a glance over my account. I move in seasons. Olympic lifting, parkour, ninja warrior training, Martha Graham technique… I love to move.

Pilates, however, was my first love.

It is the backdrop to every session that I teach, and its resurgence on social media the last 3 years has made me so happy because there are so many new, passionate instructors the world over.

I myself began teaching 18 years ago. ☺️ 18 years later… that love has never faded. It has changed shape and geography, expanded and enhanced as I have; I approach it with new eyes every session, and I have the most inspiring clientele I could dream of

to create beautifully with together.

Thank you all for letting me do what I love. 🤍 by @vanessapinkham

Our fellow student body member, Stephanie MacNeill, competed today in the Pro division of Hyrox Tampa and I wanted to share these photos of her last competition. I could not be more proud of who she is in this season of her life - as a person and as an athlete.

It’s an honor to contribute to your fitness and well being, my friend. 🤍 Have an amazing race!

I love the ease of this season - everything about it whispers, “exhale and relax.” 🍂 by @vanessapinkham

Happy 79th birthday, Nancy! 🎈

She has been practicing Pilates for over 30 years!

I can remember her 60th birthday and yet she moves even better than she did all those years ago. She credits a big part of her health with a weekly practice of flexing, arching, curling, and extending her spine! 🤸🏻‍♀️

Cheers to your health, spirit and positive outlook! I look forward to 20 more years together, my friend! by @vanessapinkham

…to step outside and touch some grass. 🧘🏻‍♂️ ☀️ 🌱

Bonus points if you pull a weed at the root from the soil and take a deep breath in through your nose.

Your heart rate, nervous system, microbiome and circadian rhythm will thank you. ☺️ by @vanessapinkham
