Dick Van Dyke and The Vantastix: 25+ years of pure a cappella magic with Eric, Bryan & Mike—sharing stages, TV screens, and endless joy!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

#bliss ⛺️ "When you just happen to basically exactly match the fan art portrait behind you … down to the microphone, heart glasses, Bootsy Poppins the pup and all!" says photographer Laura Johansen of ALaura Designs. 🎤💕🐾 Sometimes the universe winks, and yesterday it winked hard.

What a day. The Seafoam Circus washed ashore at Aviator Nation Dreamland, then the joy rolled up the hill to Vandy Manor for New Orleans Jazz & Bijou Box Bingo at the home of Dick & Arlene Van Dyke — hosted by our beloved Arlene with longtime friend Stu Shostak, tunes by Matt Von Roderick & his New Orleans Jazz Trio, and a surprise visit from the one and only Paula Poundstone (!!).

Every ticket helped support the future Dick Van Dyke Museum — a longtime dream of Arlene's. Our journey is just beginning. ✨

And this is just a preview... more photos on the way. 📸

As we get ready to celebrate @official_dick_van_dyke Dick Van Dyke’s 100th birthday (!!!) on December 13 (and the weekends leading up! More info on the festivities in Malibu soon!), we are loving looking back at memories of birthday celebrations past, including the most astounding @disneyparks Disney celebration ever at Disneyland @disneyland (complete with parade, surprise performances, lunches, dinners, fan treats, artwork dedications, visits from and with the Mary Poppins crew, featured desserts, family, friends & fan gatherings, a whole parkwide full day celebration!) - each special intricate touch did not go unnoticed. We can’t wait to find out how Disneyland and the Disney parks will tribute his centennial this year! It isn’t every day a Disney legend turns 100, amiright??
Enjoy this little behind the scenes video snap of the Vantastix rehearsing for their upcoming surprise balcony performance for Dick Van Dyke’s 90th, in the garden terrace at the former Dream Suite, now known as 21 Royal.
It doesn’t get any more magical. ✨
And yes, that’s @bijoubox mother, Dick’s mother-in-law dressed in her Mary Poppins finest you might see there in the clip!
Birthday celebration plans are well underway here in Malibu (this is your subtle hint to start thinking about coming on by!), and no matter where you are, you can have your very own celebration in lots of fabulous ways. Or perhaps pop on by to @disneyparks and see what they might have in store?? 🤔☂️🦯💯
