Sanitary Monoliths
🪨💎💅💫🍄☠️
Gathered from demolition sites and construction debris, the materials of Sanitary Monoliths <bathroom tiles, sinks, toilets> are reconstituted into sculptural monuments that radiate ritual significance. They are remnants reborn, fragments transformed into sites of continuity. What was once waste now carries a charge of spirit, a resonance of renewal, enacting a cycle of destruction and rebirth that is both material and transcendental.

This mosaic was made in excellent company.
Thank you, Gigi 🐈‍⬛ 💎
Your steady, everyday presence improved the work in ways I can’t fully explain.

A new body of work in progress: ALTARS
💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💅🍄

Emerging from a framework of transformation and interconnectedness, this body of work engages directly with the material remnants of urban renovation; shattered tiles, sinks, toilets, discarded wood, and plasterboard salvaged from construction debris. These found materials, once deemed obsolete or broken, become central agents in sculptural mosaics that evoke both spiritual resonance and ecological awareness. The city leaves behind fragments of itself; unnoticed, yet charged with meaning. In gathering and reshaping them, I perform a kind of ritual offering, transforming loss into presence, and the forgotten into the luminous.
My work positions urban debris not as waste, but as a vessel for continuity and transcendence; an alchemical proposition that challenges conventional hierarchies of value and desirability. These sculptural assemblages function as altars, inviting contemplation and dialogue around the entanglement of material and spirit, destruction and rebirth.
