WAR|SHIP coming in 2026 🌊

We’re excited to invite you into the journey to WAR|SHIP, a dance production where we present the healing that comes through worship and community. It uncovers struggles and hardships that often go unseen, showing how true restoration arises through collective and inward worship of God.

We recently shared a snippet in New Orleans for the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, and it deeply moved viewers. We can’t wait to bring WAR|SHIP to the stage in 2026. More details coming soon. 🌊 taken in The Battle Field by @vavalvictor

Before Black History Month ends, I want to give a shoutout to some personal Black-owned businesses. If you’re in need of some of the best locticians in Louisiana, Ohio, or California, please check out the following:

• @loccdbylyricc — Started my loc journey -Bases in New Orleans
• @locdinn — Maintenance in Cleveland,Ohio
• @haironloc_kay — Maintenance in Los Angeles, California

Not only are they amazing at maintaining my locs, but the conversations we have during the process are unmatched. They don’t just offer a service — they give their customers an experience.

Definitely book with them… but fair warning, they’re that good and often booked up, so make sure to schedule early! 🙌🏿 by @vavalvictor

🎆 2025 Recap | EP.10 | PT.1

We’re ending this series with a two-parter 🌝 and for part one, we’re starting with my birthday celebration, The Happiest Hour.

Throughout this year, I’ve learned that everything I need is already within me. I hold the keys to the next opportunity, the solution, and the endurance to keep going. I am enough. I have the drive, the personality, and the intelligence to obtain anything in this life. And when I forget that, I turn to my community, the people who remind me daily to show up as my full self.

All glory to God, who perfectly designed me to have dominion on this earth. As we move into 2026, I plan to pursue and take hold of everything that is meant for me.

Cheers to more success, more adventures, and what’s next 🥂 taken in 2025 by @vavalvictor

🎆 2025 Recap | EP.9

We’re almost at the finish line.

This episode recaps our third annual Friendsgiving. Watching my community grow with so many incredible people still amazes me. Sometimes it feels like we’re living our own Friends sitcom.

Moments like this reminds me to stay open to friendship. The right ones will find you, and the ones who leave were only taking up space. 🤷🏿‍♂️ taken in 2025 by @vavalvictor

🎆 2025 Recap | EP.8

One of my favorite places to be is Lake Tahoe. This year marked our second annual trip, and honestly, I’m already looking forward to year three. There’s something about that place that always brings stillness.

Here’s to Lake Tahoe 2025 and hoping Lake Tahoe 2026 is even bigger and better. taken in 2025 by @vavalvictor

🎆 2025 Recap | EP.7

As we wind down this 2025 recap, the final posts focus on tradition. Grateful for this annual trip with some of my best friends from high school and for over 10 years of being locked in together. Some traditions only get better with time.

🎆 2025 Recap | EP.6

We’re still calibrating, but beginning to understand the “why” set at the start of the year. In 2025, I won my first international award, a Webby. This campaign was the very first one I worked on at my previous employer, and I played an instrumental role in getting the idea sold through to the client. My time there was short, but the work went on to become an award-winning campaign. A reminder that purpose isn’t always tied to duration.

UPDATED Accolades as a Marketing Strategist:
• Published author in @adweek (2024)
• Published author in @anamarketers (2024)
• Webby Award Winner @thewebbyawards (2025)

Your role isn’t about how long you stay, but about what you’re called to leave behind. With only a few episodes left, the blessings kept coming in 2025. taken in 2025 by @vavalvictor
