A multiple exposure gives this a happy feeling as though it’s dancing and everything around it swirling around.

I spent the morning at the Garden at Merritt Lake in Oakland. It’s small but packs a punch. It’s a lovely community garden bursting with all kinds of kinds of flowers and plants. I found a bed full of Queen Anne’s Lace in varying stages of life. It was beautiful.

I’m so excited for @artontheavenuedelray this Saturday! There is something about the energy created by bringing so many artists together that is truly inspiring. These are a few of the pieces I’ll have with me. I hope to see you there!

This morning I gathered up my gear and was getting ready to head out with my camera when it started raining. Not knowing if the rain would last, I pivoted and got creative with the leftover flowers from my birthday bouquet. Floating in milk, I love how dreamy they look!

Reflections! In case you prefer other colors, here’s a few more!

It’s amazing what you can create at home with some reflective paper, a piece of black plexiglass and a little imagination.
