Our struggles don't define us; they equip us. Growing up the way I did wasn't easy, but it gave me a superpower I didn't realize I had until much later: the ability to truly connect with other humans. Never in my life would I have imagined that the hardest parts of my past would become the foundation for everything I'm building today.

Whatever you are going through right now, remember that your adversity is building your greatest asset.

Drop a 💯 if you’re using your past to fuel your future!

Make sure you get your tickets for Determine Your Destiny 2027. Visit the link in the comments. See you there!

RILEY SCHARVER TAKES THE TOP SPOT! 🏆🌊🏄‍♀️🔥

Riley Scharver claims 1st place in the Girls Longboard 14 & Up Final, finishing with a 6.50 total score and taking the win by just 0.30 points! 👏🏾

And she had a little extra love on the beach! Some of Riley’s First Colonial volleyball teammates came out to support her, trading the court for the sand to cheer on their teammate as she competed for the title! 🏐➡️🏄‍♀️🌊

Riley posted scoring rides of 3.00 and 3.50 to secure the top spot in a tight final.

TEAMMATES ON THE COURT. SUPPORTERS ON THE SAND. 🩷

Congratulations, Riley! 🥇🌊

My favorite weekend of the summer 🏄‍♀️

Spent our Saturday at ECSC and there’s truly something for everyone here. Surfers, football, skaters, volleyball, inflatables, plus a ton of games for the kids — my son was everywhere at once. This is the weekend where VB feels like ours again, tourists thin out and it’s just us locals soaking it up.

Today’s the last day, so if you haven’t made it down yet, go enjoy it while you can!

NEW DAY. MORE COVERAGE. 🏄‍♀️🌊

Saturday at ECSC gave us plenty to capture, and we’re running it back for another day at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront! 📸✨

From the waves to the sand and everything in between, She Scored Sports is spending the weekend shining the light on the women and girls showing up, competing and doing what they love.

Here’s a look back at a few moments from yesterday as we get ready to kick off SUNDAY AT ECSC! 🌊☀️

More athletes. More stories. More fun. Let’s get into it! 🎤📸

SERVING UP SOMETHING DIFFERENT AT THE OCEANFRONT. 🏐🌊🔥

Beach volleyball was in full swing at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront — and the ladies understood the assignment. ☀️🏖️

From the sand to the surf, female athletes are showing OUT all weekend long. 💪🏽✨

SISTER, SISTER: SURF EDITION! 🌊🏄‍♀️

What happens when your sister is also your role model & competition? 👀😂

We caught up with Virginia Beach surfers Saydee + Shelby Stiles at ECSC for a little sister check, from who’s more competitive and who talks the most trash to what they admire most about each other.

The Stiles sisters are hitting the waves this weekend and She Scored Sports is following along! 💖✨
