October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year, we are raising funds for Støt Brysterne - a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.

For us, breast cancer is not just something we support from a distance. It has been a part of our lives for more than two decades. Our mother was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, and after facing the disease three times throughout our lives, we sadly lost her in November 2022.

She was not only our mother, but also one of the people who believed most deeply in us and in the company we have built together.

We cannot change what happened to our mother, or rewrite the story that has shaped so much of our lives. But we can only hope that, by supporting this cause, we can play a small part in changing the story for someone else. If our contribution can help more families have more time, more hope, and a different outcome than ours, it means more to us than we can put into words.

Throughout October, our goal is to raise 10.000 DKK for Støt Brysterne.

And because food and bringing people together is at the heart of what we do, we want to give something back in return. If we reach our goal, we will give away a private dinner for 10 people in our event space in central Copenhagen to one who has contributed to the fundraiser.

The winner will be announced by name on our Instagram account, and the winner must contact us directly here on Instagram in order to claim the price. So if you wish to win the private dining experience, please do not make an anonymous donation.

We truly hope that you will consider making a contribution and joining us in supporting a cause that means so much to us. Every donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and helps us get closer to our goal of 10.000 DKK.

@camilla.elise.almblom was asked by @sofieholstnyvold and @miniature_cph to talk to guests about her love for nature, camping, and adventures while cooking one of her favourite foods that you can easily cook outside with a portable gas stove: toasted sourdough bread with creamy mushrooms and fresh herbs served with a filling, yet fresh, salad.
