In English, we say, “I love flowers.”

But in poetry, I’d say “There is something about petals on stems that makes me believe God has a soft spot for beauty that doesn’t ask to be kept forever. Perhaps that is why I love them so much. They remind me that even the most fleeting things can leave the deepest impressions, that perhaps the world is still full of little reminders that tenderness exists, and that even the most delicate things can withstand the wind and still find the courage to bloom.”🌷 by @vee_warinda

My friend graduated the other day🥹👩🏾‍🎓 and we celebrated her in style.

As you look through these, I hope you don’t just see pictures of a beautiful night. This is evidence of God’s goodness, His faithfulness, and His keeping power.
There was something so beautiful about seeing Unathi surrounded by people who love her, laughing and eating and celebrating HER. The degree is beautiful, but I think the greater testimony is who she had to become to receive it.🥹 by @vee_warinda

31536000 seconds of surrendering to God’s will for my life.🧎🏾‍♀️

Yesterday my friend reminded me of this milestone. I had thought about it days before, but on the day I had completely forgotten. It just felt like an ordinary day, and then God interrupted my day with a kind reminder. He reminded me that He kept His promise to me. I said yes, but He kept the promise. He has helped me. So I celebrated the milestone the best way I know how, by taking it back to Him and saying thank you🥹🙏🏽❤️

I haven’t done a dumpy dump in a while because I felt I had lost my rhythm of life. I’m grateful to say that God has restored it and it’s the rhythm of heaven. Let’s goooo🥹🧎🏾‍♀️
