A new chapter for V. Fonts Law. ✨

V. Fonts Law, P.A. isn’t new, but sharing it with all of you like this is.

Over the past year, I’ve been quietly building my firm, serving clients, and thinking very intentionally about the kind of law practice I want to create. And I’m finally ready to bring that vision forward.

I created V. Fonts Law with a simple purpose: to help families, business owners, and individuals protect what matters most.

That means helping families plan for the future and protect the people they love. Helping business owners protect what they’ve worked so hard to build. And when someone’s life is disrupted by an injury, helping them protect their recovery and move forward.

As I step into this next chapter, I’m especially excited to begin welcoming estate planning clients and building a planning experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and completely different from the traditional law firm experience.

There has been a lot happening behind the scenes to get here, and there’s still so much more to come. I’m incredibly grateful for every client, friend, colleague, mentor, and family member who has supported me along the way and most of all, grateful to God for continuing to open the right doors at the right time.

My first marathon.🏅Where do I even begin …

This wasn’t the training camp I imagined, and it definitely wasn’t the race I originally wanted to have. The last couple of months were tough, mostly mentally. Training while managing an injury forces you to be patient in ways you don’t want to be, and it makes you constantly question where you’re at. For me, everything eventually came down to two simple goals: get to the start line and finish. Nothing more, nothing less. And I did both.

Endless gratitude to Jared, who guided me through this entire camp. 🙏🏽 Training through an injury isn’t simple. We had to make a lot of adjustments along the way, slow things down, and be smart about what I could and couldn’t do. Every decision was made to protect my body while still moving me forward, and because of that, I was able to make it to the start line.

Mikey, my anchor through all of it. He supported me in every way possible. During long runs, when I wanted to push harder than I should have, he reminded me to slow down (“eeeaassyy”), stay patient, and trust the work. When I felt frustrated, he kept me grounded, patient, and focused on running my own race. Couldn’t have done this without you. I love you 🤍

To my family, my cheer zone on race day. Seeing you and hearing you out there, especially hearing Jackie absolutely losing her voice screaming my name (please put up the volume on the videos 🤣), gave me a push I didn’t know I still had. I hope I made you all proud. ✨

And to everyone who checked in, sent messages, or cheered from afar, thank you. 🫶🏽

Miami Marathon was hard. The heat and humidity were no joke, and miles 19 through 25 were brutal. But that’s what makes it what it is. It’s meant to test you. It’s supposed to be hard, otherwise, everyone would do it. Somewhere in that stretch, I stopped thinking about pace or time and focused on just getting through it. When I crossed the finish line, it really hit me. I DID THAT.

Valencia marathon is already on the calendar (💁🏽‍♀️), and who knows what might happen before then. But one thing I know for sure is that I’ll be back to race Miami again next year. 🖤#miamimarathon taken in Miami, Florida by @veefontss
