Zehn Jahre sind eine lange Zeit…
Es ist nicht leicht, sich von etwas zu verabschieden, das so lange ein so großer Teil meines Lebens war.

Ich habe lange nach den richtigen Worten gesucht — vielleicht gibt es sie nicht.
Nur Dankbarkeit.

Für alle, die mit uns getanzt, gelacht, geweint & gefeiert haben.
Für alle, die es zu dem gemacht haben, was es war. Ohne euch wäre es nie das gewesen.

Danke für alle Freund*innen, unsere Krew, unsere Gemeinschaft, meine Familie & für jeden Menschen, der auch nur ein kleines Stück unserer Reise begleitet hat.

(Vor zehn Jahren habe ich mein erstes Set auf der Moyn Afterhour auf der MWilden Hilde gespielt. Dass ich zehn Jahre später dort auch mein letztes Set spielen durfte, bedeutet mir sehr viel. Das Set ist jetzt auf SoundCloud.)

Ten years is a long time…
It’s not easy to say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of my life for so long.

I’ve searched for the right words.
All I’m left with is gratitude.

For everyone who danced, laughed, cried & celebrated with us.
For everyone who made it what it was. Without you, it would never have been the same.

Thank you to all my friends, our crew, our community, my family & every single person who shared even just a small part of this journey with us.

Thank you for ten years of Moyn 🖤

(Ten years ago, I played my very first set at the Moyn Afterhour at MWilden Hilde. Being able to play my final set there ten years later means a lot to me. The set is now up on SoundCloud.)

Staying curious is one of the hardest things to maintain as we grow older. Along the way, we get used to defining things, finding explanations & putting things into categories. We learn how to navigate the world around us — often valuing certainty over wonder. But I think curiosity is one of the things that keeps us truly alive..
The curiosity to discover things we didn’t even know we were looking for.
To follow what genuinely excites us without knowing where we’ll end up.
To embrace the unknown.
To see things from different perspectives.
To discover new sides of ourselves.
To feel rather than understand.
To surrender rather than control.
Festivals are some of the few places where this curiosity still has room to exist. Places where we don't have to know exactly what comes next & where we can allow ourselves to be surprised. Looking forward to whatever unfolds at Garbicz Festival this Sunday, 8pm 🌳 Happy to share the booth with so many talented artists & grateful to be part of this collective experience ✨

We often try to hold on to the moments that feel especially precious. We try to preserve them, to extend them, to experience them just a little longer — as if we could protect them from disappearing.

But moments were never meant to last. They’re not something we can collect or keep forever. A certain place, a certain song, a certain night & a certain feeling will never exist in the exact same way again.

I think the most beautiful moments are not the ones we manage to hold on to. They are the ones where we completely let go. Where we stop thinking about how to preserve them, how to recreate them, or what comes next — and simply allow ourselves to be fully present while they are here.

To me, this is exactly what makes closings so special. They don’t ask us to resist the fact that something is ending. They invite us to embrace it. To be present enough to experience it fully while it is still here. And maybe we can only truly appreciate a moment once we stop trying to keep it from passing.

Looking forward to closing the Tiefland floor at Habitat Festival & sharing this moment with all of you.

Festivals don't necessarily change who we are. Sometimes they simply help us remember what was already there. Thank you Fusion Festival for this gentle reminder…

That we are more than our responsibilities, roles & routines. That what genuinely excites us is often still there, waiting beneath everything we tend to ignore. That creativity is not something we acquire, but something we are.
That things often unfold differently than we expect or fear & that uncertainty is not something to overcome, but something to move with. That some of life’s most meaningful moments cannot be measured, optimized or explained.
That the way things are is not the only way things could be.
That alternative ways of living, sharing & connecting are possible. That change often begins in imagination. That wonder still matters. And that sometimes, simply being present is enough.

We spend most of our lives adapting to systems we rarely question.

We learn how to fit in & how to follow the paths laid out before us. We learn how much of ourselves we can show & how much we should hold back. We learn how to blend in, how to meet expectations & how to move through the world without taking up too much space. We learn what success should look like, which dreams are realistic & which ones are better left behind. We learn to adapt, to be efficient, productive & available — but sometimes forget how to move freely.

Over time, these ideas begin to feel less like choices & more like facts. We forget that the reality we take for granted is not fixed. It’s something we are constantly co-creating through our ideas, words & actions.

That's why places like Fusion feel so important. Not because they allow us to escape reality, but because they invite us to imagine different ways of living.

In a world that often pulls us apart, we are reminded how deeply we are connected beneath the differences we tend to focus on — and that separation is often a construct, while connection is something we actively choose.

Feeling deeply grateful to reconnect and share this special moment in time & space with all of you again at Tanzwüste on Friday night, 4:30–6:30.

When you look back, you don’t just see the past — you see how far you’ve actually come: shortcuts & detours, decisions that led you here in the first place, rare chances, patterns that keep repeating & so-called coincidences that were never just random...

After spending years producing & playing hip-hop, I unexpectedly fell in love with electronic dance music. I still remember spinning at those endless afterhours in an old pallet warehouse, where time seemed to lose all meaning.

Tracing it back, I realize how much those moments shaped my relationship with music & how beautiful it is when everything merges into one.

Those experiences left a lasting imprint on me as a DJ & taught me more than I could ever put into words. It’s not just a craft you constantly try to perfect — it’s about being fully present & catching the vibe of a moment as it unfolds.

I feel deeply thankful to reconnect with that part of myself & share my love for minimal house with you at the second edition of Zurück nach Vorne. Rotating some of the records that have stayed close to me throughout the years — a small look back at the sounds that started it all & the path that led me here.

Sometimes we are so busy dreaming about a different life, a different version of ourselves, a future somewhere far away… That we barely notice how much we are already changing along the way.

For the longest time, dreams seem distant, almost impossible to reach. You carry them silently within yourself while life keeps moving — through uncertainty, through doubt, through failure, through chaos.

Right up to the moment where you feel that something profound has shifted. Nothing around you really changed overnight — but something inside of you did.
For a brief moment, everything becomes very still & you realize that some of the things you once only imagined are already part of your reality.

Maybe that’s the most beautiful thing about dreams: They rarely arrive all at once. They unfold slowly, quietly, almost unnoticed…  Until your heart finally catches up & recognizes that you are already living inside moments you once wished for so deeply.

Feeling grateful & happy to create a few more beautiful memories this summer at Fusion, Habitat & Garbicz. See you around 🤍
