This was actually more of a message to myself but figured I’d share just in case someone else might need it too.

Sometimes those rough patches are an opportunity to remind us you can’t just talk about it, you gotta BE about it. It’s gotta be IN you, ya know?!

It can be hard to see it when nothing is going right & you feel like you’re waist deep in 💩but if you can force yourself to remember the truth(s) that’ve been promised, you’ll make it out …. Or be consumed. The choice is yours. ✨

✨LONG POST ALERT✨
I went back and forth with how or if I wanted to share this here but I felt like there are so many people who struggle in silence with different things, so it might actually help someone out to see what I have to say.

Tattoos have served as a form of therapy for me from time to time and everything I have has a special meaning. This one might be my favorite to date …. It’s definitely top 👌🏾3️⃣👌🏾. If you’re into metaphors, I feel like tattoos, although painful most times, usually end as something beautiful. Kind of like life. There will be times where things happen that are super painful but at the end of the day life is a beautiful mess and it’s all in how you choose to perceive it, work through it, and deal with it.

This is for my girl. One of my longest and dearest friends. Sometimes I wonder if there were things I could have done better in our friendship or if she truly knew how wonderful she was to me and meant to me. She crosses my mind daily and even though I know it can’t happen right now, I selfishly wish I had just one more day. Moments before I got this I literally felt like she reached down and grabbed my hand, as if to let me know that she’s ok and everything is going to be ok. It gave me a weird sense of calmness. I’m not quite at peace with what happened but I’m getting there. 🙏🏾
