It’s has been awhile since I’ve done an introduction - so here it is! Hi, I’m Casey!
You may also know me as The Velvet House Interiors 😁

Lately I’ve been thinking about what makes a space really work — for the people living in it, and for the architecture itself. For me, it’s all about creating spaces that are approachable, inspiring, and truly reflect the client or the building’s personality. Originality is key, but it has to feel timeless too. Every decision — from a paint color to a lighting fixture — is about striking that balance.

We’ve got lots of new projects in the works and I’m excited to be better about sharing more of what goes on behind the scenes, the day-to-day and nitty gritty.

Thank you for following along on the journey! 🩵 taken in Oklahoma by @velvethouseinteriors

We’re excited to see a pair of these custom 9 foot doors come to life. From the scale and craftsmanship to the clean design, this system is going to make a statement in the space.

Always a pleasure collaborating with @velvethouseinteriors on projects like this.

Trim phase site visit—when the design starts revealing itself, even if it’s still firmly in the construction phase. Design and build isn’t always glamorous, but the skill and expertise of the trades are what make the final result possible!

Catch this home in the Parade this spring — more details coming soon!

Slab selections is more than just choosing stone, it’s about finding the perfect movement, balance and character to complement the design decisions made elsewhere!

Not only does it have to flow but it has to be the right choice for the clients lifestyle and preference - whether that be through durability through quartz or prioritizing character through natural stone.

It’s all in the details - and we’d the research so you don’t have to. 🫶 taken in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by @velvethouseinteriors

Designed for clients who recognize quality without explanation.
Tailored details, layered textures, and a sense of calm that money alone can’t buy.
This is luxury that feels personal, intentional, and timeless.

Grateful we scheduled this outdoor meeting last week, before the frigid temps 🥶

Also grateful for @kortmcd at KC Millwork for being all hands on deck to ensure all the details of this home is perfectly executed!
