Meet Carrie, our Studio Assistant and resident outside perspective. Since joining the Verity world, she’s kept the details in order; updating project specs, building relationships with local vendors, and handling the behind-the-scenes work that lets the rest of us focus on the design. Outside the studio, she’s walking her favorite Raleigh streets with her husband, dog, and almost-two-year-old, or leading the Ukrainian dance group she started right here in Raleigh.

Carrie keeps us grounded. She keeps us inspired. And she makes sure everything’s in place before we even notice it needed to be. by @veritydesignstudio

Subtle shifts in tone can change the way an entire space feels. Reviewing floor stains alongside the millwork ensures the wood finishes complement one another. A floor-to-ceiling modern warm wood wall unit under construction, bathed in natural sunlight streaming in from above. The upper portion features large, seamless wooden cabinet panels, while the lower section is open, revealing exposed wall studs, yellow insulation, a black fireplace insert labeled "NO SCREWS," and various wood stain cans and construction materials resting on a low wooden ledge. Blue painter's tape outlines floor stain swatches on the light wood flooring below. by @veritydesignstudio

Inside a client presentation, we create test fits, curate material options, hardware finishes, and pull together the inspiration that drives the design forward. Flat lay of an interior design mood board on a wooden table, featuring printed bathroom concepts, stone slabs, a light green glass tile, wood samples, metallic hardware swatches, and ceramic tiles in earthy tones.
