A collaborative exhibition and exploratory conversation by Sofia Gomez Fonzo and Rachel Weschke in photography and clay.

Using the landscape and coastline of Ibiza, the yellow sun of ochre, the white salt of the moon, black velvet nights that breathe, the nostalgia of analogue that provides a feeling of sun kissed assurance and memories.

Olas Gallery presents ‘Textures of Time’, a collaborative exhibition and exploratory conversation by Sofia Gomez Fonzo (@sofiagomezfonzo @olasgalleryibiza) and Rachel Weschke (@vessel_rooftop_studio) in photography and clay.

In allowing life to unfold, we also make space for the unforeseen: for tension, for rupture, for the quiet emergence of the unexpected. These so-called accidents are not interruptions, Sofia and Rachel work from within this threshold, inviting contingency into their practice and allowing the work to be shaped by elemental encounters.
