Japan trip part 2: Hokkaido. We spent a short week in Sapporo and one day/night in Noboribetsu at a fantastic Onsen hotel. Then back to Tokyo for a day before we flew back to Oslo. by @veswing

A yellow- red paper orchid I made for a colleague who is leaving the project I’m currently in. She is such an inspiration so I thought she needed a little extra. I have made two orchids so far. Maybe there will be more….

I have always wanted a Ric Rac Cactus, but I don’t have enough light for it to thrive, so I made one out of paper. It is thick green paper painted with acrylic paint. The pot is from a second hand shop, and judging by the signature, made by a kid.

Paper orchid. I have always wanted a blue one but I have never found one I liked and was able to get and/or care for. The flowers were a lot more work than I thought but I’m happy with how it turned out.

Paper plant I finished last month. It is based on a Homalomena Rubences but with a definite watercolor look. It is a 100% hypoallergenic plant 😋 and was a lot of fun to make.

I have sort of gotten into crocheting lately. As usual I start something a bit too complicated for by level of skill, but I’m very pleased with how it turned out. I made this as a birthday present for @layersoflan

My outfits for this work-week. This was a fun little project. I feel I have grown to like my clothes more by drawing them.

New York was epitome summer holiday for BF and me. Second time I’m there during a heatwave again but would definitely go again. by @veswing

Over halfway in our New York vacation and are having a blast. Sweating our way through the streets in this heatwave and nearly got coughed by a thunderstorm.

Small craft project. This made a paper plant. Perfect for those corners in the room that are too dark.
