Made a giant Wimmelbild(look and find picture)
Part of a project with @munichwallflowers where we played with the idea of Identity. The exhibition and project took place at @kopfbau_riem an old building that was part of the first airport in Munich from 1936-1992. The Wimmelbild is showing the Identity of Riem Munich, what makes up Riem, what is Riem known for? Flight attendants and pilots are hidden among the chaos to show the history of the first airport in Munich.

I invited people to color in the giant Wimmelbild to get in touch with their Inner child, what is also a part of our identity and personally I think if more of us were in touch with our inner child the world would be a better place.

The process of the picture getting colored in turned into sort of a social experiment. Who will be the first person to feel brave enough to start? How many people will follow ? How will people color it in? Different groups of people colored it in and the dynamic of the group also had an effect on the way the picture was filled. Was interesting to watch unfold, everyday the picture became a little more colorful, a little livelier. Thank you to everyone who took the time to color and get in touch with their little version of themselves❤️

Wimmebild - A wimmelbild is a German word for a busy picture, hidden object picture, or picture puzzle in English. It is a detailed illustration or painting filled with a massive number of tiny figures, animals, and objects engaging in different actions at the same time.

A quick look at my Wimmelbild for @munichwallflowers IDentity festival from 24.9 - 10.10 at @kopfbau_riem. Final piece coming soon. by @vh.illustration

Shit that I’ve sprayed so far.
Picked up a new way of painting, after joining @munichwallflowers. I joined looking for community, but had no previous experience with a spray can. As things progressed I almost left the group feeling like I wasn’t experienced enough, not ready, not good enough.
But when are we „ready“? When is one „good enough“?
We all have to start somewhere, and learning something new may not always look pretty or what you had imagined but it’s part of the process of getting out of your comfort zone and learning something new.
So here are some things I have made, the good and the bad, some experiments, some more thought out projects. Grateful for this group for pushing me out of my comfort zone and for the friendships that came with it 🌸❤️ by @vh.illustration

The world is f❤️cked, let’s dance.
A process video.

The world that we live in feels heavy to me right now and I know others can relate. Its giving a general what the hallelujah Jesus Christ is going on energy, I can’t understand it and sometimes it makes one feel helpless, a general sense of sadness and negativity and distrust in the world.

We can’t give up on life, on living, on loving, on celebrating on seeing the beauty and positive in life, even when there is a dark cloud in the way.

To come together, to love amongst so much hate, is an act of rebellion in itself. Stay strong, keep your heads up and keep celebrating life. All the love 🫂❤️

Can you find the million dollar banana ?
What about a woman getting too close to her dog ?
Wait I think I see Söder ?
Come stick around, stay a while and get lost in what you will find next in this chaotic subway ride
(There is a post also if this is your preferred way of viewing) ❤️

People watching in Brüssels sketches + nerding out over new art supplies. Saw so many interesting characters that inspired me to draw them and these two sketches are just the beginning.

Went to the cutest stationary store @moires.brussels where I got two neat pencils where the lead is multiple shades/colors. Used to have so many of them as a kid but didn’t realize it would be a game changer for my sketches. Okay I’m done nerding out about the pencils/stationary. Lots more people to come, stay tuned ❤️

Sketches of people that I have seen in the U-Bahn.
A sketchbook for me is a place where I’m allowed to be messy and loose. All sketches were on sight, quick observations transferred into a brush pen onto paper. Traveling in public transport is a wonderful place for people watching, and I record what I see through these sketches. Enjoy❤️

Isar Liebe 🩷

The local hangout spot for Münchnerinnen as soon as the sun comes out☀️

Fun fact: the Isar is a alpine river starting in the mountains of Austria, meaning what you are swimming in is mineral rich melted snow mountain water, hence the reason of it being so damn cold, but refreshing on a really hot day.
