#meetTMC2026 (11 of 13) - Vandegrift Band and Vision Dance Company of Vandegrift High School from Austin, TX is the next ensemble to highlight in our “Meet TMC 2026” series. Their show is titled “The Persistence of Memory” and they perform in TMC prelims on October 17th at 3:00 pm. In their own words: Inspired by the surrealist philosophy of Salvador Dalí, The Persistence of Memory explores a dreamlike world where perception becomes fluid and reality loosens its hold. The production unfolds through distinct memory states…fragmented impressions, distorted motion, and emotional resonance thus revealing how memory stretches, reshapes, and endures beyond structure and order. Repetition evolves, stillness speaks, and familiar ideas appear in unfamiliar forms. Follow them on Instagram at: @vhs.band vhs_vision @vhs.drumline @vandegrifths #viperband Advance tickets for TMC are available! Save $5 per ticket by purchasing before Oct 17th.
