Gracias, ¡HOLA!

“The art of choosing with intention: How @veronicahelenspeck curates her life with meaning. The founder of @vhs.ventures shares how meaningful objects and Latin American makers shape her home and her way of living.”

Grateful to close 2025 with this feature in the January 2026 issue of @holausa — a celebration of the designers, clients, and most importantly, friends across Latin America whose creativity continues to inspire me. Feeling thankful for all of the relationships in my life, and very excited to step into 2026 ✨ The best is yet to come! 🤍

We are pleased to announce representation of @atraformstudio

Founded by Alexander Díaz Andersson @alxnderdiaz and based between Mexico City, New York City and Los Angeles, ATRA is a design and architecture studio that takes projects from first sketch to completion at every scale, from a single chair to a full building. Díaz Andersson was raised in Sweden, studied industrial design in Madrid and learned furniture making in his family’s factory on the Yucatán Peninsula. He opened a small carpentry workshop in 2008 and founded ATRA in 2014. His Swedish-Mexican background defines the work: minimal, sculptural forms in wood, stone, steel and upholstery, engineered with precision and built to last for generations.

The architecture and interiors practice brings the same rigor to buildings and spaces, with work grounded in the geography and culture of each site. The studio focuses on high-end residential and boutique hospitality projects, with a specialty in custom millwork and furniture. Alongside vintage pieces and clients’ own collections, ATRA develops custom-made solutions for private and public spaces, so that each interior is specific to the people who live in it. The interiors play with form and volume and draw on neo-futurist architecture and parametric design, whether the project is a Malibu villa or a New York loft, while remaining contemporary and timeless. Every project is designed around the client’s lifestyle, with close attention to detail and circulation.

In 2024, ATRA received the Prix Versailles for restaurant design for ILIS in New York, presented at UNESCO in Paris. ATRA 2100, the studio’s ongoing study of how we might live 100 years from now, won Best in Show for Curio at Design Miami in 2021. ATRA has also presented at Salone del Mobile Milan, Nomad Capri, Zona Maco and Unique Design x Mexico City.

VHS Ventures will lead global press, business development, events and partnerships for ATRA across all three disciplines.

We are pleased to announce representation of Studio Bronco @studio.bronco, a Dallas-born design collective behind “The New West” furniture, lighting, and art installations shaped by Texas heritage and Mexico City craft.

Founded by Tate DeSmet and Chase Rowan, the studio brings together the character of the American West with the artistry of Mexico City, creating collectible pieces made in close collaboration with fabricators across Dallas and CDMX. It’s a vocabulary the duo calls “rugged elegance,” built on the belief that Texas has never had a formal design language of its own, one Studio Bronco intends to help define.

DeSmet’s background in bespoke lighting design and Rowan’s in branding and creative direction give the studio an unusually complete point of view for a debut label: one already drawing comparisons to the kind of design-forward hospitality and collector spaces it hopes to furnish.

“A Pharoah’s Ball: Inside a One-Night-Only Intergalactic Ægyptian Discothèque in Ibiza.” Read all about it in @voguemagazine. Thank you, @freyadro!

“A Pharoah’s Ball, a grand-sounding bash thrown by party givers extraordinaire @bronsonvanwyck Wyck and @mimivanwyck of @vanwyckvanwyck was hosted to mark once-in-a-lifetime, once-in-a-century, and once-in-a-bimillennium milestones. One day prior, Ibiza enjoyed its first solar eclipse since 1912. Serendipitously, the calendar date also reflected the day in 30 BC that Cleopatra VII chose to write her own ending to her story, infamously enlisting an asp to assist with her last great stage exit. And then, there was the belated birthday of Mimi, who greeted guests upon arrival in a custom gilded ‘Phoenix’ gown by Annie Doble of @anniesibiza.” by @vhs.ventures

“Party Like an Egyptian: Almost 300 guests descended on Ibiza for a birthday celebration so elaborate it turned a rock quarry into an otherworldly stage.” Read all about it in @dujourmedia @mhmakesithappen! by @vhs.ventures
