We’re not here forever… dance accordingly. šŸ’—

That hit me harder than I expected.

I hope I get to dance forever…..because dance is life. Especially hip-hop where it brings such a fun loving yet savage energy.

Dancing doesn’t make me afraid of aging… it makes me grateful for this season.

….we get to circle our hips, shake our booties, wear the outfit, turn up the music we love, and completely lose ourselves in it.

I don’t want to spend this season holding back because I’m worried about how it looks or what people will think….or whether grown women are ā€œsupposedā€ to move this way.

We don’t dance to be looked at, criticized, shrunk, or controlled. Dance is here to be lived in. Our mind & body is meant To feel the music. To express joy. To take up space. To remind us that we are alive.

Maybe ā€œdance accordinglyā€ simply means… stop saving your joy for later.

Wear the outfit.
Move your hips.
Shake your booty.
Play the Thong Song.
Do the damn thing!

This exact season won’t last forever… and that is what makes it so beautiful.

We’re not here forever.

Dance accordingly. šŸ’ƒšŸ¼

Soul Message: Survival to Revival.

My story, My truth, my survival to revival... my life has been turned upside down many times from growing up in addiction, death of my parents, being raised by grandparents, death of my twin, death of my grandparents (one to abuse and domestic violence within family).

So much drama and toxicity because of life’s circumstances. The emotional rollercoasters and turmoil I have endured due to past experiences many times take my breath away.

To business lawsuits, family lawsuits... having 2 NICU babies, to navigating a faith transition…….not to mention the mental and emotional weight of being a mom and all the responsibilities it comes with. I had many soul deaths in the 4 decades I have had on earth.

If my life was a sit-com or a reality TV show, you would not only entertained, but hopefully inspired on what is possible of you too.

This is more than just chapters in my life. It’s proof that even in the face of messy struggle, grief, trauma, tragedy-— growth and resilience are possible.

It’s a reminder that healing is NOT PRETTY OR SEXY but Ive made it that, and it’s worth it. Truth is, no one is truly alone in their journey. Even when life feels unbearable, there’s hope on the other side.

Yes, am still in the process of healing. I don’t have all the answers and many times I don’t even know what I am doing, but what I do KNOW is the human spirit is resilient.

The battles I fought & my darkest moments has lead me to my LIGHT now. Let me be proof that not only survival is possible but you can claim revival.

Yes, by the grace of God I survived some of the most unthinkable and some unimaginable things growing up in addiction and losing most of my family to this plague... it’s real and raw. I am grateful to be alive.

Here is what I claim, I get to choose: I didn’t just want to just survive anymore... I wanted to THRIVE. I’m choosing revival.

Let my revival be a testament to the power of steadfastness, perseverance, courage, & self-love. And for those of you reading this, I hope MY STORY might be the reason you keep going and be living proof that strength exists even the hardest times.

You can’t quit on a bad day! šŸ’Æ
.
This is one of the best advice I’ve been given. Why, because you would never quit on a good day. šŸ¤ŒšŸ¼

Who DOESN’T think of giving up, everyone.

šŸ™ƒWhen motherhood is throwing you all these curveballs and shenanigans.

šŸ™ƒWhen life feels overwhelming because there’s so much going on with just being human.

šŸ™ƒWhen it feels like you’re trying sooooo hard, but not getting the outcome you want.

šŸ™ƒWhen you don’t know what tomorrow brings, and the grief, trauma, and loss you have experienced feels like such a burden that’s too heavy to carry.

šŸ™ƒWhen you’re overloaded because society says you have to hustle more… but you’re tired!

šŸ™ƒ When your workouts have been on the fritz and you are eating your feelings, and just feel defeated!

šŸ™ƒWhen you’re juggling family and running businesses, AND the struggle is real!

You’ll want to quit. Bless it, right? There’s so many moments that I have had where I am like, I’m DONE….Head in my knees saying, ā€œI can’t do this anymore!ā€ Trust me I’ve felt this. 😣

That’s totally normal to want to throw in the towel. It’s completely natural to pass those thoughts through your list of mental options, and emotionally feel this way.

But you can’t quit on a bad day, because that’s not who you are. Let it ride, embrace your stubbornness, lean into your grit, your tenacity and second wind! šŸ’Ø

Find your determination by surrounding yourself with the help and support you need to move forward, but don’t ever give up, girl! šŸ’£ šŸ’„

Not now, Definitely not now…. You have come too far to quit now! ā€¼ļø

And guess what since I believe in myself enough not to quit, I believe in you too.šŸ’«
.
We got this!!! LFG! šŸ«¶šŸ¼

One of the most meaningful experiences of my Mrs. Treasure Valley journey happened over the past two days: I had the honor of serving as a judge for Miss Amazing. šŸ’œ

This opportunity was already close to my heart. Through @summitlifechiropractic , my husband and I work with children with disabilities. My husband also lost his brother, who had significant disabilities, and my niece has Down syndrome. Our family has a special place in our hearts for people with disabilities, so when I was invited to be part of Miss Amazing, I said yes without hesitation.

I didn’t know how deeply the experience would move me. I watched contestant after contestant i interview, take the stage, share their talents, introduce themselves, and show us who they are. Their confidence, creativity, and joy left me in awe. I found myself with tears in my eyes more than once, grateful to witness each person being celebrated for their own gifts and personality despite their mental, physical and intellectual disabilities.

I also got to bring my family along, which made the experience even more special. Sharing that joy with them is something I Love!

Judging Miss Amazing was sooooo unforgettable…one of the most meaningful and fun experiences for me. being able to show up and serve in my community this way has my heart so . Crown or no crown, I told them I hope they’ll have me back. My heart is so full. šŸ’œ by @vibewithkerri

What’s your season??? WINTER! ā„ļø ā¤ļø

I had such a fun…..and surprisingly eye-opening-color analysis with House of Colour Boise! I learned that I’m a True Winter, with cool undertones and colors that really complement me.

People often assume I’m warm-toned because I have a little more color to my skin, so it was fascinating to learn how undertones work, explore the color wheel, and see which shades bring out the best in my natural coloring.

This will definitely help with pageant looks, but it’s knowledge I get to take with me well beyond pageant season….when I’m shopping for my wardrobe, choosing makeup, or just deciding what colors make me feel my best. And the best part? So many of the colors in my palette were already colors I loved!

I’m also loving the BB cream and lip glosses I got! Thank you, Allyson @houseofcolour_boisecitycenter , for generously gifting me this experience and helping me learn more about what works for me. It was fun, fascinating, and such a gift. šŸ’™ by @vibewithkerri

A little look back at a pretty great day on the green. ā›³ļø

We had so much fun joining @rileysres for their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at SpurWing Country Club! @spurwingcc

And a big thank you to everyone who nearly cleared us out of our LMNT Electrolyte Salt samples! We’re glad we could keep the golfers fueled with some uplifting electrolytes throughout the day. šŸ’§

From the swing-off and golf carts to catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people, and sharing a little Nervous System education at our Summit Life booth, it was a full day of community, connection, and plenty of laughs.

And yes… even Doc took a couple swings. šŸ˜‚

But what made the day even more meaningful was knowing what everyone was there to support.

Riley Residence is working toward creating short- and long-term housing, employment opportunities, independence, and an inclusive community for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, right here in Meridian.

We’re grateful to have been part of a day that brought so many people together around that vision. And with new partnerships with @solidgoldconstruction and @cshqa , we’re excited to watch it continue to take shape.

Thank you to Riley Residence and Michelle for having us! We had a blast. šŸ’™

šŸ“ Ways to get involved:
• Learn more about Riley Residence
• Support their housing project
• Volunteer or partner with their organization
• Share their mission with your community
āž”ļø Join the 1st Annual Run for Riley’s Residence Halloween 5K on October 31, 9 AM–2 PM at Kleiner Park šŸŽƒ

Every bit of support helps move this vision forward.

Couple months ago, before the school year began, I spent the day volunteering at TAFT Gives Back’ fourth annual Beauty Salon Day for kids in the Boise community. I’m a little late sharing this….pageant season has kept me busy….but this day has stayed close to my heart.

The kids got haircuts, hair washes and braids, painted nails, backpacks, toothbrushes, and self-care goodies. They were so sweet and so stinking cute, and it was a joy to be there for all of it. It was a long heart filled day. I actually got to take my kids along with me to help show up and serve the community, and it was amazing.

This event felt like a beautiful connection between my past and my future. I know what it’s like to grow up around addiction, and being there with these kids reminded me how much it can mean when a community shows up with care, kindness, and a little extra love.

I left feeling so full…one of those heartwarming days that stays with you long after it’s over. I’m grateful I got to be part of it. šŸ’›

Thank you @tommieq for having Mrs. Treasure Valley. 😘

Happy birthday to my Hercules ā¤ļø

This dude strong in so many ways….not only physically, but in his character, his convictions, and the way he shows up for the people he loves. He’s a devoted dad, a wonderful husband, and one of the safest, kindest people big teddy bear person ever. He leads by example and makes the people around him feel cared for.

I love seeing how much he loves his work as a pediatric chiropractor. He has such a heart for the kids and families he helps, and it’s clear this is what he’s meant to do. Hearing him talk about the difference he gets to make every day is one of my favorite things.

I also loved watching him take on his entrepreneurial season with Pathfinders. Seeing him work hard, grow, and succeed….and then receive the Sphere of Influence Award in Health and Education, was so special. I couldn’t be prouder of him.

He also puts up with all my big ideas and shenanigans. He loves me as I am…half-hood, half-holy, savage and sweet…and always makes room for me to be myself.

I’m so proud of the man he is and so grateful I get to be his wifey! Happy birthday, Christian Price DC

….love you so much! ā¤ļø by @vibewithkerri

One of my favorite appearances yet! 🤠✨

I was so honored to serve as a judge for the 10th annual Dirt Road Dancing Country Swing Contest at the Idaho State Fair last month! They invited Mrs. Treasure Valley to judge because of my dance background, including my professional experience and Hall of Fame recognition for dance and choreography + & @_the.hype.club_ ! It was soooo exciting!

I’m definitely a hip-hopper and I love swing too….my husband and I went country swinging on our first date and we love it! So getting to celebrate a dance style that means something to us was extra special.

The dancers were incredibly talented, and this year they added a fun curveball: each couple had to draw a song from a hat and dance to whatever came on. Watching them, I was soooooo impressed & it was sooo fun!

I also loved meeting the other judges who bring people together through dance…from bachata and burlesque, it was amazing to connect with them. I got to represent the hip-hop side, and it was such a cool reminder that dance creates community in so many different ways.

I spent my fair day smiling from ear to ear, and somehow didn’t make it onto a single ride…I was having too much fun doing this! Thank you to everyone who put on such an awesome event and to all the dancers who made it unforgettable. šŸŽ‰

What an honor this was…. Thank you @dirtroaddancingcountry @line_dance_with_madison You guys are amazing! 🤩 by @vibewithkerri

And I believe it begins with understanding, not just doing.

Mom to mom, I know how it feels to just want to HELP your child.

It can feel easier to add another supplement to the cart, pick up another prescription, schedule another therapy, or try the next thing suggested.

At least you’re DOING something.

When my son Treyson was struggling, I was that mom. Late nights researching, trying different things and wondering what we still hadn’t thought of.

Diet. Supplements. Detoxes. Therapies.

We tried A LOT, for a long time.

And I don’t regret wanting answers for my son. I was his mom, and I would have tried practically anything if I believed it could help him.

But now, more than a decade later, there’s one thing I would do differently:

I would start by understanding what his nervous system was doing before adding another thing to the list.

Eventually, I started learning about neurologically focused chiropractic care through the Pediatric Experience, #PXDocs. I watched videos, read families’ stories and kept bringing what I learned back to Christian.

Funny enough, even my chiropractor husband wasn’t sold on it at first. šŸ˜‚

But that momma intuition kept gnawing at me.

So I took Treyson to another chiropractor for a neurological evaluation and nervous system scans. Then I asked Christian to come to the follow-up and just listen.

That appointment changed so much for our family.

For the first time, we saw the bigger picture instead of chasing one struggle at a time. Ultimately, it completely changed the way Christian practices.

It’s a huge part of why we care for families the way we do at Summit Life today.

When a Boise or Treasure Valley mom walks through our doors feeling like she’s tried everything, I get it.

Our first step is understanding where we’re starting. At Summit Life Chiropractic, we use drug-free, non-invasive CLA INSiGHT scans to look at patterns in nervous system function, regulation and adaptability without diagnosing your child.

For us, that’s where the hierarchy of healing begins.

Mom to mom, I’d want to understand first. Then decide what comes next. šŸ’™

Yes, This hip hop hustler women is running for Mrs. Idaho!! Today, advocacy looked like walking into pharmacy after pharmacy and hospitals asking one simple question…

Will you help me save lives?

I spent the day calling the Board of Pharmacy, visiting local pharmacies and emergency rooms, and asking if they would consider donating Narcan for the overdose response workshops I’m bringing into businesses and organizations throughout our community.

Until now, I’ve been purchasing the Narcan myself. But if I want to reach more people, I need community partners who believe my platform matters too.

What surprised me most was discovering that some pharmacies didn’t even have Narcan available… and seeing how many people were genuinely surprised and excited that someone was out doing this work. The more conversations I have, the clearer it becomes that so many people still don’t know this lifesaving medication exists, where to find it, or how to use it.

I’ll be honest… walking into place after place, introducing myself as Mrs. Treasure Valley, sharing what I stand for, and asking for help took courage. But every conversation reminded me why this work matters… and I’m feeling hopeful that a few yeses may be close.

This is what I meant when I said I wanted to use my title ā€œbe about itā€ not just say I am about it… turning pain into purpose, breaking cycles through advocacy, and helping more people feel prepared to save a life.

If you work with a pharmacy, hospital, public health organization, or business that may be able to donate Narcan or connect me with someone who can… please send me a DM. One connection could help me reach so many more people. šŸ’œ

Last night was one of those nights that felt incredibly sacred. 🄹✨

I’ve experienced such a cascade of loss in my life that sometimes I don’t think I actually stop long enough to grieve… or even just remember.

At the Water Lantern Festival, I brought little pictures of my mom, dad, my grandparents who raised me, and my twin brother. I wrote each of them a letter. I remembered. I cried. I reflected. And I got to do it beside my husband as he honored his dad and brother, too.

But our lanterns weren’t only about grief.

I also wrote about @_the.hype.club_ what it has been for me, the culture I want to continue creating, and everything I still dream it can become. Christian did the same for @summitlifechiropractic .

And there was something so powerful about putting our grief beside everything we’ve built.

Because despite everything life has handed us… look how God has blessed our lives..

And maybe that’s what breaking cycles looks like.

I can’t change how my family’s stories ended. But I can choose what I do with the life I still have. I can carry their stories forward. I can advocate through In Loving Recovery. I can love my family differently. Build differently. Serve differently. And make sure the lives that were lost continue to mean something through the way I live mine.

I’m not living by my circumstances.

I’m living by my calling.

Last night held grief, gratitude, remembrance, hope, and so much pride for how far we’ve come. @dr.christianprice

Grief and joy can coexist together. šŸ¤

And last night, they floated together. by @vibewithkerri
