Woah. Perth… tonight really got me 🩵

I’m sitting with so much gratitude for this life and all the unexpected places it keeps taking me.

That 19-year-old version of me who sold her car to do her yoga teacher training on a whim would never have imagined this.

Starting over in a new country on your own isn’t easy.
Making real, aligned connections as you get older takes work.
Choosing a life that doesn’t fit society’s neat little boxes can feel lonely at times.

But moments like this remind me why I chose it anyway.

So grateful. So full.

Thank you @cold_nips & @cityofperth @visitperth 🤍🌊 by @vicderob

Home isn’t always one place. Sometimes, it’s two.

One island holds the little girl I once was.
The other holds the woman I’ve become.

I thank my lucky stars everyday ✨ by @vicderob
