‘To Continue’ is a series of 108 light graffiti text photographs and videos I created in 2023-2025. This artwork is my version of Richard Serra’s ‘Verb List’, 1967. It is about drawing and photography.

I used the last verb in the list, ‘to continue’, as a prompt and worked the list in reverse. Each of the 108 videos are 15 seconds in length and are meant to be viewed simultaneously in unison for 15 seconds on screens or projected.

It is also, for me, deeply personal and why I chose this barn location for the background. It is about animals, speciesism and how each of these verbs, these actions, can all be attributed to the unnecessary harm inflicted by humans on animals. It is about what I call Zombie Capitalism. It is about choosing a vegan 🌱 lifestyle. It is about love. ❤️
