Excited to announce I’ve accepted a position as a Men’s Basketball Graduate Assistant Coach back home at Wayne State University! Thank you to Coach Smo, Coach Will and Coach Gjon for selecting me to be the right man for the job ❤️!
This ends my time at Belleville High School and I’m extremely grateful for Belleville taking a chance on me, I remember finding out I’d be a head coach 1 week before tryouts and I was scared out of my mind. Thank you to all coaches for not only helping me in my journey but being life friends along the way I’m grateful for you all. To all the kids I’ve been able to coach thank you so much for accepting me and letting me be apart of your guys journey, I love all of you guys and you guys saved my life in ways you can’t imagine ❤️. To all of the parents thank you so much for entrusting with me with the great young men you have all raised and supporting me as the young guy. I am eternally grateful for coaching HS hoops and I’ll always just be a kid from Belleville 🤞🏽.
With that being said once again I am ecstatic to be back in the 313 🙌🏽 I’m ready to work hard and help the program elevate anyway I can 💚💛 time to Rep the 313 ❤️!! by @victorjackson__

🔥🏀 UNDERRATED. UNFAZED. UNBREAKABLE. 🏀🔥

Wayne State University Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach Victor Jackson knows what it means to embrace the underdog role. A former state championship assistant coach at Belleville High School, Coach Jackson carried that same fearless mindset into the Elite Eight, staring down powerhouse Cass Tech in the playoffs.

No hype. No shortcuts. Just belief, preparation, and heart.
When the odds said otherwise, he doubled down on toughness, discipline, and trust in his team. That’s championship DNA — whether you’re favored or fighting uphill.

Respect the grind. Respect the journey.
The underdog mentality never leaves you. 💪🔥
