Audio is never an after thought.

Sound design is just as important as the main event in my opinion. Sound is what moves us through spaces. However when people think of “sound design” they often think of what songs the band will be playing or which tracks the Dj will spin. It’s so much more than that. In events you’re guests should feel like they are stepping into a new world. We can accomplish this by utilizing looping audio of a stream, rain, forest sounds, animal noises or anything that will allow your guests to audibly recognize what they are walking into. This applies to all spaces where guests will be in and not just the entrance.

The audio I picked for this video is supposed to feel intense, dangerous yet seductive. If you watched Euphoria seasons 1 & 2 you are no stranger to @labrinth this audio is from the shows score and it matched the sound that was going on in my head when designing these spaces for our #LakesideOdyssey wedding. The edgy beats looped in my head when bringing the design back to a shipwreck. @videobyrobin nailed it with the entrance and outro of the music.

THE ODYSSEY
Washed Ashore Lovers

At the edge of Bass Lake, two lovers emerged from another time. Torn sails, olive branches, sand and myth formed the world around them.

@gary.wooten playing bass and guitar at the same time on his 8 string guitar like the legend he is.

We wrapped production of 9 music videos for "Gary Wooten's Low Standards." It was a pleasure working with such a talented and passionate musician on this project.
