Sometimes, chasing money can cost you things money can never buy. You get so caught up trying to make it that you don’t realize how many good people you’ve left behind along the way. And by the time you finally get where you wanted to be, some of those people and moments are gone forever. That’s why time is more valuable than money. Think about it, your job pays you for your time because even they know your time has value. The money will always come and go, but time and the people who were there for you? Once they’re gone, you can’t get them back. #viewsfromthetrap 🏚️ by @viewsfromthetrap_

Some people record moments.

I compose them.

Man today at the Knicks parade had me thinking about everything all at once.

Riding them NYC trains back in the day, cutting school, just being young in the city… running around Jamaica Ave tryna get fly, coppin sneakers, putting my first gold chain on layaway like it was a trophy.

Then it hit me too — the other side of it… getting caught up, Spofford, being in and out of juvenile situations, being 14 thinking I was grown, smoking my first blunt, drinking them 40s like that was the life.

All of that came rushing back standing there today.

Because that’s NYC. It’s the good, the bad, the lessons, the grind, all of it mixed together.

And through everything, the Knicks still right there in the middle of it. Same energy, same city, same pain, same love.

No matter where I go, New York always remind me who I am.

And today made it clear again… there’s no place like fucking home . #viewsfromthetrap #Thehoodmoma #knicksnation #knickstape #knicksparade2026 🏚️🗽 taken in New York, New York by @viewsfromthetrap_
